I am happy that your pregaancy is progressing well; that is SUPER news! :)
I can't sleep; we may get some thunderstorms later, and we are under another watch, so this may be shorter than usual, in case storms should happen to meander this way. It is raining now, but it is gentle for the moment. If I hear thunder, I will be turning off the computer PRONTO! Hope the weather is much nicer there! We may have a chance for severe storms later on today and on Sunday before it finally clears the Tennessee Valley.
I also have been taking care of Johnny (rolling him over every two hours, on the clock, so he doesn't get bedsores) and suctioning him out (he choked earlier on some phlegm, but he is now resting comfortably). Ronee' is sick too, suffering from a flare of her JRA; she is now sleeping fitfully. She may have a sinus infection because her cheeks and the area around ner nasal passages are swollen. She looks (and probably feels) MISERABLE!
Yes, Jenna, you have read right: we HAVE adopted another child, a little girl from Romania named Janica Kryzstina. She is absolutely aDORable, and she is really starting to make her own in our family unit! She is still somewhat shy; as she improves on her English, I am sure that her shyness will go away.We now have FIFTY-THREE children, and they keep this Cajun maman hoppin'! :)
Yes, M'Buti is expecting her SEVENTH child, and my friend in Finland (as well as you) are expecting your FIRST child. I just hope and pray that all these pregnancies go according to plan!
Jenna, I can't WAIT to see you when we come to Alaska! But you don't have to go paying for our room and board; that IS nice, mind you, but it is also unnecessary!
Jenna, I am happy to know that you and Michael are now going to church and have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour. That is absolutely WONDERFUL!! God has been so good to our family, and we canNOT imagine our lives without His Grace and Mercy! You will NOT be disappointed, especially when He starts performing blessings upon you and Michael! Good for you! :)
Well, I am going to TRY to get at least a LITTLE shuteye before I have to tend to Johnny again. I think we may have to have a nurse stay with him because he is starting to need more in the way of medical care; I am going to have to talk to his MD doctor next week to see what has been causing his choking episodes. He also has been having some trouble breathing (more than usual); his color has been "off" the last several days, and it has me worried. Please keep Johnny (and US!) in your prayers!
Speaking of Johnny, his girlfirend, Rebekkah Cohen in California, has also been in the hospital with some kind of infection, and she is really frustrated about her condition. She has a condition that causes her not to be able to feel pain, and she is prone to injury, burns, or infection if she bumps herself as she lacks the pain receptors. It is a very misunderstood condition, and it is known as pain insensitivity disorder.
I will write more later when I wake up. Today is going to be a rather easy day; nothing much is planned. I just hope no more of the children become sick; dealing with two sick children is hard enough! Love you, and thanks again for writing! It is always great to hear from you!
