I am so worried about you--ever since I got  your email of the other day, I have been on the verge of tears! What is exactly going on with you??

I am so sorry to learn that Johnny's health is getting worse. I pray that it isn't! I am sorry that he has to have tests at the MDA clinic! Is there anything I can do for you or for Johnny? Let me know, asap!

I will put Johnny's (and your) names on the prayer chain at our church. I will have our pastor, Pastor Gilcher, pray for a healing for Johnny, and peace of mind for you. I love our new church home; it is spirit-filled, and the people have accepted Michael and myself joyfully! I have made a lot of new friends, and they have accepted me and my limitations without any reservations! I am happier now than I have been in a very long time, and so is Michael!

I hope that Ronee' has recovered from her recent flare. That JRA she has sounds like a very mean disease; no child should ever have to suffer like that! It just isn't fair, and this is when we wonder if God even really cares! I will put her name on our church prayer list too, so we can pray for a healing for her as well.

The weather down there in the Lower 48 has surely been something, hasn't it? Floods, fires, devastating droughts, tornadoes and thunderstorms that bring death and destruction, heavy snow storms that bury cars and trap people in their homes or businesses, record-breaking, killer hurricanes--it's enough to make one wonder if God is mad at the world! Very scary stuff, this weather pattern as of late! Lord, I pray it calms down soon or else I will go crazy!!

I also have seen some all-red auroras recently. Maybe that is why Johnny has been having all that trouble with his health. I hope nothing happens to him; I just love that little guy so much! He is so full of life, and he always seems to have a smile on his face! He sure is a handsome young man with those big baby blues and that white-blonde mane of his! He is going to break a lot of hearts when he gets older (that is, if he isn't already doing so)! I also think that Ronee' is emerging into a classic Cajun beauty; she has grown into a beautiful young woman, and I am sure that she will have the boys chasing after her, too! :)

In fact, I am sure all of your children have grown into beautiful or handsome young men and women! Sure seems weird how fast kids grow up, doesn't it? (Something for me to look forward to, hunh?) I have gotten to know you and your family so very well, and you have bent over backwards to accept me, even when I was being nasty. Not many people are like that, and I am very glad that I have you among my small circle of friends! I am indeed blessed, yessir, I am! :)

How is the weather there in Tennessee? Have you been hit by any of the storms? I pray and hope not! Here in Alaska it is cold, highs in the teens and twenties, but it is supposed to "warm" up to the lower 30's by the weekend, then turn sharply colder again. It is sunny here, and we may have some auroras tonight, according to the auroral forecasts. (I just hope I don't see any more red auroras; I have had enough of those bad boys to last me for the rest of my life! I have seen too many of those lately!)

Well, as soon as you find out anything regarding Johnny's health status, you let me know, pronto! Don't leave me hanging in the dark! In the meantime, both Michael and myself will pray, pray, pray for him! We will be praying for a Miracle in that young man's life; Lord certainly knows he needs a Miracle!!
