I am looking forward to tomorrow; we are going to our city's annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration and Parade. I will be sampling some Irish food, and I will also be singing there in the early evening, after the parade, which starts at four. That means I'll probably be on one of the three stages sometime about seven thirty. I'll be doing traditional country and Cajun music when I perform. (Okay, it isn't exactly Irish music, but hey--it's what I do best! *grins*)
Tomrrow we also have our St. Patrick's Day party at school. I will no doubt wear green (if I don't I'll get pinched severely; OW!!), and I will take some shamrock cookies that maman made earlier today. (Mom will take me to school tomorrow.)
Well, Johnny is over his tests. He had some tests yssterday at the muscular dystrophy clinic, and he had a hard time, according to maman. He had blood work done, and he also had tests to check his breathing and his muscles, as well as tests on his heart, his strength, his reflexes, and whatnot. Johnny has been having more in the way of weakness, and he has been having problems swallowing and with his breathing. I just wonder what the doctor is going to say; either way, it probably isn't going to be good, and I know we will cry buckets once we find out anything!
I am doing much better. I am all over my latest flare up of JRA, and for that I am very glad! I hate being in pain! GRR!! I hope I don't have a flare for a very long time to come--or never again! (That would be soooo nice! :) )
The weather has calmed down since our last spate of severe storms. We had tornado watches and warnings all day, and the siren made me nervous (as did Johnny's stupid weather radio)! I wanted to throw that stupid weather radio out the window, it was really getting on my last nerve!! Today the weather was actually quite nice, but I couldn't enjoy it as I was stuck inside a stuffy school building all day!
Well, the stupid computer is starting to act up, so I'll go for now. We have wireless Internet hookup, and once in a while it knocks us off line, which is what happened. If this goes through I will be surprised!
