Dear Donna Sue~
Hi! Thanks for your letter earlier today; 'twas good to hear from you again! I am glad that Bethlehem is coming home; I can only imagine how excited y'all must feel!
I am glad that we are friends again. I am willing to try to make amends, but as I said in a previous letter to you, it is hard not to favor Johnny and Rnnee' because they have been with us so long. We have seen them grow up, and we have gotten quite attached to them both! However, I will try to include the other children in future letters; just give me time, and I will work on it, I promise!
The weather here has been rainy all day; it may get heavier tonight, as the low that plagued Texas for the past two days pays us a visit. Hopefully it will have nearly lost its potency once it arrives; we don't need any of that catastrophic flooding here! Boy, that weather in Texas was really something, wasn't it? It has been featured on the world news, and it is incredible to see the devastation that those floods caused! My, 10 inches in one day! That is a LOT of rain!! Almost sounds like a hurricane type deal; we can get over 10 inches of rain easily during the hurricanes or remnants thereof!
Donna, you will be happy to know I have made an appointment with my doctor, Dr. Harlowe, for a complete medical physical. Maybe there is something going on inside me that I don't know about, but I have been so irritable and cranky lately! I don't know why because I no longer have that crippling back pain that I havd lived with for so long prior to my surgery! I will let you know what happens when I have my physical; I have it in a few weeks. It was the earliest I could schedule; Dr. Harlowe always has so many patients to see!
Yes, I do need that Mexican cruise, you are so right about that! Bill and I are looking forward to it very much, and it will be great to get away from the kids--at least for a little while! We are going from June 23-29, 2006, and we are going on the cruise ship "Ecstacy". This will be second cruise, but the first time on Carnival. The last cruise we went to (two years back, to Alaska), we went on the Disney Ships, and it was a family affair; that was why two of the kids got to go. This time, however, it is for adults, and I know that Bill and I will be having fun in more ways than one, if you know what I mean! *grins*
