Hi! Thanks for your letter; it was good to hear from you again! But it sounds like you need that cruise pretty quick; you seem pretty stressed out, and it worries me!
I am well; just getting fatter than a nanuq! LOL I am so big now it's a wonder if I am having twins instead of just one baby! It is getting harder for me to move around (not that I already have more than enough trouble now!), and now I have to use two pillows at night bccause I sometmes have trouble with my breathing! The doctor says that everything is normal, but I am beginning to wonder about that---
Your friend in Georgia may be right, I am sorry to say. You have mentioned Johnny and Ronee' a lot lately and barely touched on the other children. It's no wonder she snapped at you like that, and you don't need to get so upset about it! (I am starting to sound like you now...I am the one handing out advice instead of you! LOL)
I don't see why you couldn't be with Johnny when he had his tests! You ARE his mother, after all, and you ARE a nurse! Those doctors think they are so high and mighty; they make me sick at times! GRR! I am so tired of doctors right now I could just scream! AGGH!!
Please do let me know what the test results are; I am all ears! I just hope that it is good news; Johnny sure could use it! It doesn't seem fair that an innocent little boy like Johnny has to suffer so much heartache and tragedy! I will be adding his name to our prayer chain at church, that is for darn sure!
Is Ronee' over her recent flare (or whatever she had)? I hope so; I hate to hear whenever any of your kids are sick!
Louie, the all-red auroras are all too real, nad for years I have believed that they are the harbinger of bad luck~ I remember Mother and Father both telling us about the all-red auroras, and now wheenver I see them, I quake in terror! You may call it "fantasy", but I believe with all my heart that there are bad spirits in all-red auroras, and usually when I see an all-red aurora, bad things seem to happen to me or those I care about!
I heard from my sister, Jerrica. She is moving to Barrow; she has had enough of the "city" life (she lives in Anchorage), and she is moving to our birth place. I guess the big city life is too much for an Inuk, but as for me, I happen to love Anchorage, because that is where I met Michael! Michael is the best thing that has happened to me, and now that life is stirring within me, I want to give our child (it is a boy, by the way; we just found out the other day!) all the best opportunities that a city (town?) like Barrow can't offer.
Jrrrica and her family are fine; I will be visiting them sometime today before she leaves for Barrow. She will be leaving for Barrow sometime within the month. I will tell her the news of our baby boy to be, and I know she will be thrilled to know that she is going to have a nephew next month! (It IS March, you know; I am reeeeeeeeealy pregnant!)
Well, I am going to lie down; Junior is really giving me a workout. I can't do much without wanting to sleep all the time, and he has also been playing whupa-- with my bladder! Take care, dear Louisiana, and God bless you and your Northern Lights family always! Love you lots, and miss you!

I still say red auroras are just that, RED auroras! Like I said in one of the other letters, the colors of the auroras depend on what altitude they are at and what gases they have hit. Most are green with rosy ribbons. But, for some, I suppose if something bad happened during the time they saw a red aurora, then that would make them a bit superstitious. The Japanese believe conceiving a child during the aurora season is an omen that the child will be gifted. Thanks for the letter today, Karen Lynn.

The child has to live with that name for the rest of their lives, so make sure it is a good and strong one....
Take it easy during the pregnancy, and put your feet up for a rest, every now and then, otherwise you will end up with excess fluid- edema-, and swollen ankles...
