Dear Rebekkah Rachel~

I am sorry if I haven't written to you in such a long time, but things have been happening to me. Between surgeries, hospitalizations, sick days, school, performances, church, and practicing my music, I just don't have much free time. I also have done a second book, and I also will be doing some book signings in the coming weeks.

I am now walking without crutches, for the first time in years. I am down to just two canes, and I am enjoying my newfound freedom very much. I have been doing terrific since my hip surgery, and I get around better now than I have ever done! So life is good for me right now! :) I am also off my oxygen, and my asthma is under control. I am down to just one inhaler in the morning (and again at night), and I haven't had a bad attack since I don't know when! :)

I am sure that you are going to be making it through your time of trial, thanks to your faith. God always sustsins us, even when life seems very bad, and you can't go wrong without having Him in your life! :) I will be praying for you now more than ever!

Poor Johnny has been upset since finding out you got sick and ending up in the hospital, and when he found out about you losing his leg, his spirit was crushed. He has been on the verge of tears just about every day; it doesn't help that his MD is getting worse. So he has that to deal with too; please keep him in prayer; he could really use a miracle about now!

Maman has been moody too, and daddy hurt himself about a month ago when he fell on the ice during an ice storm. He hurt his back, and he had to miss work for a week and a half. I also had a flare last week, but other than that, the rest of the Sandusky crew has done very well! Just keep your fingers crossed---

How is the weather over there in Sacramento? Here it is sunny, but coolish; we may have snow by Friday night. What crazy weather we are having! Sheesh! I hope the weather is good where y'all are at!

I hear that you may be coming for Easter break. That would be super! I would love to see you again! You can come to our church, and you can see the Easter Cantata! I will be singing in the Cantata; but what song, I don't know just yet. I will be singing either "Washed In The Blood" or "The Old Rugged Cross", two of my very favorites! :) Pastor Bilkey and our church family would more than likely welcome y'all with open arms! :)
