Dear Rosie~
Thank you for your most delightful letter; it was so nice to hear from you! I am sorry most of your kids are sick; I hope that they are feeling better by the time you get this! I am glad, too, for Angus, that he is back at work. I know you must have been worried about him when he was ill; glad that is all behind him now!
We are all well: the kids haven't been sick. They have managed to stay well, much to our surprise. With kids like ours, things can happen so quickly (in which they often do). All we can do is count our blessings and enjoy our kids when they are well!
I loved the picture you put on your letter; that was absolutely aDORable! Where on earth did you find such a cute picture?
I am glad that the weather has managed to stay dry there. I know London is infamous for its rainy weather! Here it is sunny, but we are to get rain in a few days. We may get some severe weather; I hope not; I hate storms, and I always get scared whenever severe storms threaten, I am afraid that something is going to happen!
Honey, it doesn't matter to me one bit that you may be heavy! I am not exactly Twiggy either! In fact, I am as round as I am tall: I am only 4' 7 1/2" tall, but I weigh well over 150 pounds. I am a regular little butterball! LOL My husband, on the other hand, is as skinny as a post (and about as tall). He is well over 6' tall, but he weighs probably 190 pounds soaking wet. He is not heavy in the least little bit! We are complete opposites, and whenever people first see us, they are always amazed! :)
I think you would enjoy Fire Mountain or Golden Corral if you decide to wander this way. They have good food at both places; we eat at Golden Corral and Fire Mountain regularly!
We are going to be having company come Easter: we are having friends from California come; they will be staying with us while they are in town. The people in question are a couple and their twelve-year-old daughter, who recently had an amputaion of her leg due to an infection. I am glad to say that she is out of the hospital, but she faces a long recovery, and is facing the task of adapting to her disability. Please say a special prayer for Rebekkah; she could really use them!
Well, I am going to go now; have to check on Johnny. He is in bed now, and it's been a while since he's last been turned over. (He needs help with being turned; he is too weak to be able to do it himself. I or one of the more able-bodied boys or girls turn him over, so he doesn't get bedsores. So far we have been succesful; I pray he doesn't develop any decubitus ulcers; that would be the last thing he needs!) Take care, Rosie, and God bless you mightily! Thanks again for your letter!

You always have to be on your guard with children, especially children with special needs, as they need round the clock attention and care !...God Bless Them !
