Dear Louie~

Thank you for your mose delightful letter; it was so good to hear from you again!

I am sitting here, watching CNN, and I am not liking what I see. I have been watching the demonstations going on by the illegal immigrants and their supporters; it behooves me to see them chanting stuff about Mexico and carrying Mexican flags. My feeling is, if they don't like it, they can go back!! Or at least be waving the American flag!

Or if they do choose to live here, learn English (don't expect us to learn Spanish just so we can hold a conversation with you!!) and try to get the paperwork to get here legally! It is crazy! They are even coming here to Alaska, and I don't like it ONE bit!

I bet half of these people don't even know what they are protesting! They are making themselves look foolish! However, I do agree that they do have a right to be here, but if so, by God, learn our ways, learn our language, and stop giving the rest of us a hard time!! It is a mess for sure; something has got to be done--and quickly!! I also think that we shot ourselves in the foot because we are too lazy to get off our fat a**es and work the menial jobs; we want to work for nothing less than $10 an hour! Greedy, greedy, greedy, that is what we are--GREEDY! And LAZY! Sad!

Another solution: Close the borders. PERIOD.

I know a lot of your children are foreign born, but I am sure that they aren't protesting. I am sure that those who aren't citizens yet will become American citizens the old-fashioned way. How do they feel about this? Just a thought--

Now that I have aired my dirty laundry, I shall continue.

I am glad the children who were sick are better. That is so good to hear. I am sorry, though, to hear about Rebekkah Cohen in California having to have her leg amputated and Johnny's MD getting worse. How positively awful! I will be putting both children on our prayer board at church when we go on Sunday; it's Palm Sunday, you know (I think; I am not sure!). I hate to hear whenever any child is sick or suffering; it's enough to make me cry! Please tell your dear children hello from us, and give them big hugs from both Michael and myself!

I was thrilled to learn of Lightning having a baby girl! How wonderful! How does it feel to know that another grandchild is on the way? I bet you are beyond excited!! I was also happy to learn of M'Buti expecting quads ("Oh, my goodness, oh, my goodness!" as that one orphan says in "Annie"!) and your friend in Finland, Sari, having a baby girl! Lots of babies to be had in our worlds, hunh?? So I am not the only one who is with child! No wonder you are so danged happy all the time, Louie! LOL

The weather here is typical Alaskan: cold. It is supposed to be sunny today, but right now it is partly cloudy. The clouds are thinning, and it is going to shape up to be a nice day. I am hoping the weather there is good!

What are your plans for Easter? We are going to go to Vancouver to visit some friends of Michael's. Their names are Kirk and Uma Taaluq; they did live in Alaska, but they moved to Canada to start a family. They are in the process of adopting a child from China or Russia; I don't know, but they are thinking of it. I told them about y'all; they were amazed to learn that people could have that many children without going crazy! LOL Anyway, I hope your Easter is a good one! :)

Well, I am going to try to get some shuteye; time to turn off the news, and hit the hay before light comes calling! God bless, and do write back soon! I love hearing from you; your letters make me smile!
