Ronee' writes some more in her journal prior to going to bed.

Monday, April 3, 2006, 9:00 p.m., D.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

I am not going to be on here that long: I am tired; didn't sleep all that good last night because we had some nasty storms traversing the area, and it kept me up just about all night long.

Between the tornado sirens sounding off, all the bamming and booming of the thunder and the strobe lightning (it seemed that it was lightning every few seconds, it reminded me of bombs going off; it was kinda' scary), the heavy rain and the hail (softball and baseball sized; what a noise on our roof; I thought it was going to come through the house!), it was not a good night for us. We were in the shelter of our house, and when the power went out (for a few seconds), we all screamed. It was absolutely terrifying!!

There were 23 people killed in Tennessee (none in Nashville, thank goodness, it hit west of us in Dyersburg), and several more in other states. There were a lot of shattered nerves, mine being among the most shattered of all. :( I will have to pray for those families affected by the deaths of their loved ones or friends; what a tragedy that has hit the Southland! Such a shame!

I am sore, but now that the stormy weather has moved on, I am feeling much better now. I did wake up with a sinus headache, and I was swollen in the face, but other than that, I was doing okay. Still have a piece of the sinus headache; hope I am not coming down with a sinus infection...

I am looking forward to Easter: the Cantata, the possibility of seeing Rebekkah Rachel Cohen and her family, and just having time off from school. Easter has always been one of my very favorite holidays, and I love the meaning of the season: the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Well, I am going to hit the hay: I am getting sleepy all of a sudden. Must be the sinus medication I took a while back to try to calm 'em down. So on that note, goodnight! C ya later!

~Luv, your friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux. :0 (*Yawning*)

Yes, Easter is near and Ronee and Johnny will have a smile on their faces when Rebekkah shows up. Hope the thunder and lightning calms down before then. Thanks for the informing letter today, Karen Lynn.

Karen,

"Bamming and booming of thunder" brought a smile to my face; such descriptive, but apt, verse. The rest of the letter conveys Ronee's sadness on the lives lost in the storms, but thankfully, nowhere near her or her very special family. :) Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
