Donna Sue in Georgia is wondering about one of her friends in Tennessee. Donna is happy because her eldest daughter, Bethlehem, is home from the rehab center, and she is in the process of adopting another child, a little girl from Vietnam who will be called Miracle Joy. Miracle Joy is six years old.

Dear Louie~
I am wondering about you; you usually write back to me, and it has been over a week. Are you okay?? Are your husband and children okay? Tell me that nobody is sick or in the hospital!!
You have usually been on the ball when it comes to responding; now it has been a while, and I am starting to get worried! What did Dr. Harlowe say about your health? Did you even HAVE your physical yet?
Well, Bethlehem is home; she is walking on her artificial leg, but she is using Cnnadian crutches and she is still pretty unsteady. She is taking it slow and easy, but she is determined to overcome her situation, and her courage is nothing short of extraordinary! She has given us such hope in the face of mitigating circumstances! The other children are fine, but they are wild with joy with having their Sissy home! :) Frankly, we are too; it's been too long since she first got sick! :)
How is the weather there? I heard yesterday you may have another round of severe weather today. I hope and pray not! You have had too much in the way of bad weather there! We may get it tomorrow; I don't particularly like spring storms! You never know what they are capable od doing! I will pray for a hedge of Protection from the One Above to keep y'all safe!!
That is understandable about Johnny and Ronee' and your mentioning them so much. They were the first children you adopted; you have obviously gotten very attached to them. How are Johnny and Ronee' doing? How are the other children? I would like to konw what is going on in their worlds! :) Give them all hugs from me, and tell them I love them even though I haven't really met them physcially! I didn't mean to get so bent out of shape about the whole issue; plsase do forgive me!
We have signed up to adopt yet another child, but this time a little girl from Vietnam. Her name right now is Binh Hoa, but we are thinking of calling her Miracle Joy. She is six years old, and she has heart problems. Pray we get her, and pray that the adoption goes through! (I will be sending you Binh's/Miracle's picture with this letter; isn't she beautiful??)
Well, I will close now--it is only a quarter of six; waaaaaaaaaaaay too early for me to be up this morning. I am going back to bed now...take care, Louie, and God bless! Let me know as soon as you can about what Dr. Harlowe said about your health; I am all ears!
