Dear Journal~

I am very excited: I will finally get to meet my girlfriend, Rebekkah Rachel Cohen, who lives in California! I will also get to meet her parents David and Naomi! Yes, they are coming here to Tennessee for a visit and to see the Grand Ole Opry!

Mama has known about this for several weeks now, but I have only found out about it a few days ago. Needless to say, once I found out about it, I screamed with joy! I will finally get to do something worthwhile, and I will finally have something to write about instead of my boring health issues; I am sure you are getting sick about it by now!

Hey...when you are faced with something like Duchenne's muscualar dystrophy, it is hard NOT to think about it, especially if you are reminded of it every day!

On Friday we were under tornado watches all day and all night. It was scary, and we ended up having to get out of school early so in case something should happen. We had severe storms traversing across our area, and it seemed that as soon one storm went through, here came another one, hot on its heels, and it seemed that this storm was worse than the one preceeding it. My weather radio kept going off, and it got to be past annoying!!

My sister, Ronee', caused some excitement, along with the weather: she was going downstairs during one of the times the tornado sirens went off, and she lost her footing, fell, and landed on her shoulder. She ended up having to go to the hospital via ambulance, because she knocked herself unconscious, and her shoulder poofed up like a baseball and turned really nasty looking.

Ronee' ended up seperating her shoulder (she now has to wear a sling until it heals), and she also gave herself a mild concussion. NOT good. She is feeling better, but she is still sore, and she still has a goose egg on the back of her head!

We will have school until Thursday; Thursday we will start our Easter break. We will be off from Thursday until the following Wednesday. For Easter we will have our company from California, we will go to the Grand Ole Opry, and most importantly of all, we will have our Easter Cantata at our church. That is always a huge deal at Christ Community Assembly of God! (I am in the Cantata: I will be doing the sign language for our church members who are hearing impaired, so they can follow along with what is going on the stage. I always have a lot of fun! :) )

We may have some more severe weather come mid-week: I pray and hope not; we have already had to go through this stuff twice in the past severeal weeks, and I am more than ready for it to END!! I want sunshine and GOOD weather, NOT storms and the ever-present threat of tornadoes! We are all stormed out here in Tennessee: enough is enough!!

Tonight, though, we don't have to worry: we are going to be looking for the Northern Lights, thanks to some storms on the sun. We hope that we see some auroras; they are always cool to watch! They remind me of different-colored curtains blowing in the breeze!

In June, just a little over two months away, maman and daddy are going on a cruise. They are going to Cozumel and Playa del Carmen, Mexico; they are going for a week. They are going on this cruise because they are going to be celebrating their fifteenth wedding anniversary, and this cruise is for adults only. We will be going on a cruise in October, but on that one, the entire family is going. We are going to Alaska for a free two-week cruise. We are going to Alaska to celebrate the adoptions of Rani, Arjun, and Janica. That should be a lot of fun; this will be my third trip to Alaska--and my second cruise! :)

I canNOT wait!! :)

Well, dear Journal, I will go for now. I will wite in here again before the company comes. I hope we have a good time with the Cohens, and I hope that the Easter Cantata will go without a hitch!
