Louisiana responds to her friend in South Dakota after Ginger has written her a letter. She is thrilled to know that Ginger is in the process of adopting a little boy named Chital, from India.

Dear Ginger~
Thanks for your letter! We are okay, but we are a bit rattled from the recent spate of storms that left parts of Tennessee in ruins, thanks to the severe winds. We escaped the worst of it, but we did have some damage (mostly trees, some loosened shingles from our roof, debris from other places in our yard). Other people weren't nearly as fortunate; I thank God we were spared the worst of the damage!
Congratulations on the prospective adoption of your (soon-to-be) little boy, Chital! He sounds like a wonderful young boy; he sure is a cutie! I hope and pray that the adoption goes through! Let me know as soon as you hear anything!
The children are well, but Ronee' hurt her shoulder in the storm (she fell down the stairs and separated her shoulder and gave herself a mild concussion). She is sore, but she is going to be okay, thank goodness! She gave us excitement in addition to all the drama in the storm! But that is so typical of Ronee': she is bound to cause excitemnt wherever she goes! LOL
Johnny is doing okay, but there are signs that his MD is getting worse. It is getting hard to deal with. We have to lift him from his bed or wheelchair to the toilet or to the bath, and Johnny is no lightweight. He isn't fat, not by a long shot (he is still terribly skinny; always has bene!), but he is solid! Keep Johnny in your prayers; he could really use them!
Tammi, Camey, and Barbara are all mad as wet hens: they have found out from their bosses that they have to work on Easter Sunday, which means that they have to miss the Cantata. They were all looking forward to the Cantata; now it appears that they have to miss it. Such a shame! (Personally, I don't think ANY business should be open on such a holy day!)
How is the weather there in South Dakota? Here it has finally calmed down, but alas> more severe weather is forecast by Wedneday or Thursday. Frankly, I am mroe than ready to say to the Lord: "Enough is ENOUGH!!"
Well, I am at work, so I will go for now before they catch me playing on the computer instead of working on my flow charts! Excellent news on Chital's upcoming adoption, and excellent news from the home front. Glad most of the Sandusky family were spared...poor Ronee has an injured wing, Johnny's uncertain future, and the employed Camey, Tammi and Barbara having to sacrifice their Easter Sunday for work...Well done!
