An excited Lousiiana writes to Kendra and shares her joy about her company who will be arriving from California later today.

Dear Kendra Mae~
I am sititng here at the computer, taking a break from a whirlwind cleaning frenzy. I am trying to whip the house into shape before I leave for the airport to pick up Louisa and Rebekkah Rachel later. I have to be at the airport by two at the very latest, and I want the house to look nice!
Johnny has been an emotional mess: he is excited at the prospect of meeting Rebekkah Rachel, but at the same time, he is scared; he is worried that she won't like him for some reason or another. I keep trying to reassure the boy, but he is still worried: I see it clearly evident in his big baby blues.
Ronee' is excited at seeing Rebekkah again. She last saw her when she was in Cali, taping her appearance on "America's Most Talented Kids", and she just loved her! She is a bit jealous that Rebekkah has chosen Johnny as her boyfriend and that he gets more letters from her, but she is trying to work on that, and is very happy for her brother.
Speaking of Ronee', she had a very bad fall last week. She fell down the stairs and had to go to the hospital after she suffered a concussion and a shoulder injury. She was knocked unconscious in the fall, and an ambulance had to be called to our place. It was very scary; it matched the drama of the tornado-laden weather we were having that day! (Leave it to Ronee' to add to the "fun"; that is so typical of her! LOL)
I am now on vacation from today until Tuesday of next week. I plan on enjoying the time off from work, and I plan on enjoying Holy Week with my family. We will be having our Cantata starting Thursday through Sunday, and the church is abuzz with pre-Cantata Excitement! I hope and pray all goes well, and I pray we get a lot of people at church (especially on Good Friday and on Easter Sunday)!
Kendra, I am looking forward to meeting Louisa and Rebeekah. I am only sorry that you can't come with them, but with your growing brood, I can fully understand why you are saddled there. That is okay: maybe next time you can come and bring the brood! *grins*
As I write this, I am waiting for Michael Doucet in Alaska to call me. He wrote me a hurried letter yesterday, saying that his wife, Jenna Aurora, fell and has gone into premature labor. (When Michael wrote the letter, he was in an ambulance, on the way to the hospital.) She is only five months along in her pregnancy, so her baby will no doubt be born very, very small (and possibly having a whole host of problems). Please be praying for the Doucet Family, and pray that all will go alright with both Jenna and her baby, who will be called Mattaq!
Has the weather settled down any there in Soulsbysville? I hope it has; y'all have had too much rain there (as have we; I should talk! LOL)! We may have another round of severe weather today, then it should finally ease off, and we will then have a nice Easter weekend! Pray we make it through this latest round of severe storms!
I feel sorry for my daughters Camey, Tammi, and Barbara: they are all mad as wet hens, as they all have to work on Easter Sunday at their jobs (Fire Mountain and Golden Corral). I think that is terrible! We are going to go out to eat after church on Sunday at Fire Mountain, just so we can give some needed emotional support to Camey and Tammi; I know they will BOTH need it, particularly Tammi, who is a waitress there! (Camey will be in her little area in the party room, wrapping silverware, but I know she will be upset too! I will have to go back there and give her a hug!)
How are your girls--not to mention, your son? I hope they are all well; please give the children all my love and blessings, and tell them to behave or I will personally come over there and lower the boom on them! LOL Not really, you have very good kids, and I have really loved watching them grow up! I look forward to meeting the baby; I am sure he is the apple of y'all's eye! How has YOUR health been holding out? I hope you haven't been having too many problems!
We have bven working really hard, practicing our lines (and the songs) for the Cantata. I am in the Adult Praise Team, and we are singing "He's Alive" and several other numbers, and Ronee' will be singing "The Old Rugged Cross" and "The Blood Is Still There". Johnny will be taking part too: he will be doing the sign language for our deaf members, and it will be a huge blessing for one and all! I pray all goes well for our Cantata and for our Easter services! Everyone at Christ Community Assembly of God is stoked, and you can just feel the electricity in the air!
I have some more happy news to share: two of my friends in my adoption coomunity (one in Georgia, the other in South Dakota) are adding to their families: Ginger in South Dakota has just found out that she will be getting a little boy from India (she aleady has three boys; now she will have a fourth son), and Donna in Georgia will be getting two little girls, one from Vietnam (Miracle) and one from Mexico (Marisol). I am so happy for them all; their children-to-be are absolutely BEAUTFUL!!
Well, the kids are rising out of bed, so I'd best get back to the cleaning before they muck up the works. LOL I will write to y'all again; have a very happy and blessed Easter, and remember why we celebrate! Have a beautiful time at church, and enjoy yourselves! Stay safe and hope to hear from you soon!
