Dear Journal~

I am sitting here in my room with my girlfirend, Rebekkah Cohen, who is visiting me from Sacramento, California. She is very nice, and she and I have hit it off immediately! She is everything that I have imagined her to be, and she thinks that I am cuter in person than in my pictures! WHAAA!! LOL

I am in a very good mood: we have already gone to church last night; they had a concert by the gospel group the McGruders, and it was quite enjoyable. Rebekkah loved the music too, and she got blessed! She says we have a nice church, but it is very big (it is), and she is used to her small church back in Sacramento.

Rebekkah goes to temple too as she is Jewish. She is what is known as a Messionic Jew: they celebrate the Jewish holidays and believe in the Jewish faith, but they also belivee in Jesus Christ and in salvation, and they celebrate non-Jewish holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving.

Before the concert, we had pizza, and I ate ten pieces. Hey, I was HUNGRY! *URP* LOL I was so full at church it was all I could do to keep from pukin' in the pew. Thank GOD I didn't, but boy, oh boy, was I ever MISERABLE! *Double UURRRRRRRRRRRP!* LOL

While Rebekkah is here, we will be going to the Grand Ole Opry (we are going this Saturday night), and we will probably take in a few movies ("Ice Age 2: The Meltdown", "Duma", etc.), go bowling, or go shopping. We will be doing other things, too, but what, I don't know at the moment.

She will get to meet my friends Rico, Colton, Jose', and Shayne, and she will get to meet my teachrs and see where I go to school. I hope my friends like Rebekkah as much as I do! *Grins*

The weather has finally calmed down: we had some nasty storms last week. We didn't have any damage, but we did (briefly) lose power, and we had some minor damage in our yard (mostly twigs, branches, shingles from our roof, debris from neighbor's yards, trash, discarded toys, that type of stuff). I am just glad it wasn't a lot worse than it was!

It was scary, especially when Ronee' fell and knocked herself out! She had to go to the hospital: she had a seperated shoulder (she has a sling on her one arm) and did have a goose egg on the back of her head; it is now going away, and she will have the sling on for at least another week until her shoulder heals.

Guess what! My friends in Alaska, Jenna and Michael Doucet, had their baby (well, JENNA did, NOT Michael! LOL) yesterday! They had a little baby boy named Mattaq, and he was born very premature. He weighed just over a pound, and they said that he was very small: he wasn't much bigger than a can of soda. Now THAT is SMALL, folks!

Right now, the baby is in critical condition, and he is not doing too good at the moment: his liver function isn't so hot, and they have him on a breathing machine until his lungs develop. They have him hooked up to a whole bunch of stuff, so they can closely monitor him, and they will continue TO watch him closely until his overall condition improves. I hope he makes it; that would be sad if he died or had serious problems for the rest of his life!

Poor Jenna and Michael are devastated, as you can imagine. The baby wasn't due until August. It is only April. He was born premature because Jenna fell while getting out of bed. Jenna wasn't hurt, thank goodness, but her water broke, and there you go. The ambulance was called, and poor Jenna was rushed to the hospital. (Mattaq was born in the Emergency Room, weighing one pound and one ounce. He was only 13" long, just a little longer than a yardstick.)

I am going to play some more games on the computer, so I am going to scoot out of here. I am going to teach Rebekkah Rachel how to play Cubis; I am very good at that game! (The highest level I ever got to while playing Cubis is 25.) Maybe I will even teach her how to play Glinx (I went to level 10 on that game). I have a lot of fun on the ol' computer! :) I will write in here again; until next time, see ya! Have a "Bunny"ful Easter! I know I will! :)

P.S.: For Easter, we are having our annual Cantata at our church (the family went to the dress rehearsal; I wanted to stay home with Rebekkah! *grins*), and we are going out to eat at Fire Mountain afterwards. We will then have our annual Sandusky-style Easter Egg hunt and just have FUN!! (I will also get to pig out on Easter candy and get my sugar rush! LOL I will be so unmaginable and so out of control mama won't know WHAT to do with me! LOL)
