Thank you so much for sending me your books, "A Family Made Out Of Miracles And Rainbows: The Sandusky Family Story--A True Story Of Love And International Adoption" and "...And The Miracles Continue: The Sandusky Family Story, Continued". I got them late last week, and I have been reading them. I really enjoyed learning more about you and your beautiful family, but your book made me cry at times! You sure have been through so much with your children! WOW!
Your family is absolutely beautiful! I can tell that you are a good mama just by how the kids look. They look clean, well cared for, and it is obvious just by the smiles on their faces just how much loved they really are. They are truly fortunate to have such a caring set of parents like yourelf and Bill!
Seeing how you look and the pictures of your family has given me new hope in the Adoption Journey I am currently on. Kirk and myself have been waiting to hear from something, but so far nothing: the phone remains silent, and our attitude is quickly slipping. We are wondering if we were approved, and if we will ever get our child. I know adoptions of this magnitude take time, but this is starting to get ridiculous! It's been nearly several weeks now, and both Kirk and myself are starting to get impatient!!
I am glad the weather has settled down there in Tennessee. I am glad, too, that you didn't suffer any damage from the recent storms. I was sorry, though, to hear of Ronee' getting injured; I do hope that she is feeling better now! I am just glad that it wasn't more serious than it was!
I am happy for your friends Ginger and Donna. I am hoping to be in that group--that is if I EVER hear from my lawyer or the adoption agency! I am starting to get frustrated! I look at the empty crib in the nursery we had built for our (hopefully) child to be, and it tears me up inside! My faith is starting to waver very quickly!!
Did you do anything for Easter? We didn't; it is still chilly here, and it was raining all day, so I was stuck inside. My stupid MS was flaring up too (weakness; had to resort to my wheelchair instead of my crutches), and it left me in a foul mood. I was not very nice to Kirk: I kept griping at him about every little thing; he finally got fed up and left the house for a few hours until I calmed down. When he came back later, I was apologetic for my tirade, but he was acting like I could blow up again at any minute.
How is Jenna doing? I have tried to call her for the past several days, and there is no answer. I am starting to get worried. Please let her know that I am thinking about her and that I would like to hear from her! This isn't at all like Jenna! Let me know what she says, and if you hear from her (I know you do). Thanks!
The auroras have been red here, and that is another reason why I have been worried about Jenna. I do hope and pray to the Spirits that she is okay!!
Well, my vision is acting up again, but I wanted to write to you to thank you for the books, and to let you know that I was worried about Jenna. Take care, and blessings to you and your beautiful Northern Lights Family! (That's what they remind me of!)
(((HUGS))) and love, your friend in Alaska, Uma Tullaq. :( (sad today; feeling sorry for myself.)
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
