Dear Miss Louisiana Sandusky~
I came across your name today on Internet, and I thought I would write you letter. Please forgive me, my English not very good. I hope you can read what I say to you.
My name Hiroko Tashita, and I mom to seven children, some adopted, some born to me. My childrens' names are Reiko (9), Fumie (7), Gift (6, adopted from Africa), Kazuhiko (5), Yashiro (4), Kenji (3), and baby Narushi (1 1/2). Two of my children (Gift and Yashiro), they have special needs, keep me busy.
One of my children be in wheelchairs, they no walk. One deaf, not be able hear. They still good kids, though, they give me no troubles. All my kids good, I lucky to be their mamma, yes? :)
I read copy of your book, "A Family Made Out Of Miracles And Rainbows", I got it from friend of mine in Canada, friend named Birgit Magnussen. She say she write to you, she say she send me copy of book, she have extra book. I thought that very nice of her; now I read book, and I enjoy very much. You have most beautiful family!
I married to Reishi Tashita, he work at factory here in Tokyo, he make car parts. I stay home with childrens. We have three cats, cats Maine Coons, cats very big and furry, very purry, very loving. Cats (and kids) keep me very busy! :)
I wonder how you have time to take care of fifty three childrens. Seven childrens for me keep me on toes! LOL How do you do it? You must be superwoman! LOL I adopt Gift and Yashiro two years ago when they two and four; they bring me much joy, and I glad to be their mamma-san! :) At end of day I so tired after taking care of childrens all I can do is go to bed and sleep! LOL
How weather there? I hear America have bad weather, hope you are okay. Here it raining like cats and dogs, kids (and me) stuck inside, really terrible weather! They chasing cats, make much noise, make me get headache, ohhh! What mamma to do??
Well, I go now. Feel little tremor; we have tremors all time here in Tokyo. Japan prime earthquake country, you never know when earthquake will hit or if it will be big one. I hope not; earthquakes scare me.
I hope I hear from you. I would very much like write to you. Again, forgive me if my English not good, but I write English better than I speak. I know very little English when speak. I understand English, but when I go talk, I get confused. English so hard!!
Tell me more of family next time you write, okay? I like learning new things!
