As you can surmise from beginning of letter, you can probably guess it is me. Hiroko Tashita. I was most happy to get your letter with much information. Thank you for writing!

Louie, it sound like you have good life. You seem most happy with husband and kids. You seem most happy at hospital job as nurse, I am glad you like to help people when they sick or hurt, but blood make me sick to stomach. I no could do what you do! You must have stomach of steel to put up with all that bad stuff! LOL

Louie, I hope you come Japan some day. I think you may like Tokyo. Tokyo very big, has many people, but there so much to do here, so much to see. Do you like to shop? Tokyo have many stores,  I think you find something to take back to America if you come! I would show you good time here, and I and Reiko would make you Japanese style dinner to make mouth water! LOL Maybe I could even let you try some rice wine, or sake (pronounce sah kee). Good to drink, may make you feel good if you have many of them! LOL

Japan very pretty. I be sending you pictures of Tokyo, also pictures of Mount Fuji, one of the best known places here in Japan. I may be sending your kids some Japanese yen and some books about Japan. Maybe I will send them books about anime', hear anime' is very big in America. That is good, anime' has been round for long time here. Anime' very popular, even when I was little girl.
