Hi! Thanks for your letter, and thanks for your book, "A Family Made Out Of Miracles And Rainbows"! I got it the other day in the mail, and you told me to write when I got it. So...I am! :)
I have already started reading it, and it is quite a compelling story! Wow, I never knew you have had to go through so much for your children! Your children are absolutely beautiful! I can tell that you are a good mamma to them because their little faces shine with such hope and love! Good on you!
Man...three children. How unbelievably SAD!! Losing ONE child is bad enough, but three? My! You are such a strong person to go on after such heartache! I don't think I could be as strong! I would be devastated if I lost one of my kids! I can't imagine outliving your children, let alone, all three! How awful!!
I am glad that your company got back safe and sound. It sounds like you had a great time. Going to the Grand Ole Opry twice, going to that gospel concert, having your Cantata at your church, going shopping, and to the movies...sigh...I don't get to do that much because the kids keep me so busy, especially Tristan! He's a handful all by himself! LOL A ball of fire--yessir, that's my Tristan! :)
How is the weather there in Tennessee? Here it is raining, but cool, temps in the fifties. A little warmer perhaps, but Denver is so unpredictable. One minute you think spring has returned for good, but then Ol' Man Winter comes calling, and we are back to December or January, temperature and precipitation wise. Crazy!
How did that child make it through the breathing emergency? I hope and pray that the child made it! That is one reason why I am glad I am not a nurse: too much in the way of dealing with tragedy and heartache on a regular basis! It takes a special person to have that kind of intestinal fortitude!
I fall apart when one of my own children get sick; how do YOU deal with it?? I know most of your children are disabled nnd can get sick in a hurry, so when they get sick, everything stops. Is that true ? It seems to be in my case!
Well, I am going back to bed now; I am crazy for gettin' up at this early hour, but Tristan had to use the potty. You know how that goes. When he's gotta' go, we gotta' help him before accidents ensue! I know I don't feel like doing sheets at this early hour! GAD, how I despise laundry!! Take care, and again, thanks for the book!
