Dear Journal~
Hiii! This is your pal, Johnny! I hope this finds you well!
I am still ridin' high from seeing my girlfriend, Rebekkah Cohen, from California. She and I had the best time, and she is everything I could have hoped for--and more! She is funny, goofy at times, and an all-around great gal! She has a great attitude, and was the medicine I needed; she made me forget of my own troubles, and I loved that! :)
During her visit, we went to the Grenad Ole Opry (she got to meet Reba McEntire, who is her favorite singer of all time; boy, talk about one excited person! WOW! I was excited for her!), saw the McGruders in cancert (they sang at our church), went to the Easter Cantata (I was in it; I did the sign language), went out to eat at Fire Mountain and Golden Corral, and saw the movie, "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown". That movie was as good as the first one; I laughed myself silly! LOL
The good times were made even better because Rebekkah was there to share them with me! :) I enjoyed meeting her; now I can put a face behind the e-mails that come to me from California! :)
I am excited because this weekend we are going to Louisiana. We are going to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival, and I get to perform with Belton Richard, who is one of the legends of Cajun music (and my sister Ronee' 's favorite singer)! *hee* I get to steal some of her thunder; I get to have people pay attention to ME for once, and that is going to be cool! :)
Besides performing, I will get to pig out on Cajun food and see other Cajun music bands. I love going to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival; it is pure madness!! Whee!
Mommy's friend Jenna had a baby boy. He wasn't supposed to be born until August. He is very small and sick, and he is going to have a very long road to recovery ahead of him. I hope he makes it; Jenna and Michael are understandably very upset! They weren't expecting this to happen; if he should die (O, God forbid!), I don't know what they would do! I don't know what I would do! I would be crushed!!
I will keep you updated about baby Mattaq Michael William Doucet in the cmong weeks; stay tuned~
Well, I gotta' go now; bus is due to come in a few minutes. Don't want to be late for school, or teacher is going to be maaaaaaaaaaaad... LOL See ya; bye for now!
