A very happy Johnny writes back to his girlfriend in California after she shared some exciting news with him. He is excited and happy because the family is getting ready to leave for Louisiana, where they are going to attend the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival.

Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
Hey! Thanks for your letter today! Gusss what! I am not in school today; none of us kids are because we are going to be leaving for Louisiana this afternoon. We are going to go to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival this weekend, which means lots of good times, good Cajun muic, and all. that. wonderful. CRAWFISH! *Yummy* :)
I just got up a little bit ago, so if you see any mistakes in my letter, please do forgive me. My brain and my eyes haven't made the connection yet! LOL Just give me a moment...LOL
Okay. Brain and eyes plugged in. Now I can continue. Anyway, that is super news about your coming off the crutches in a few weeks. Sounds like you are doing well! Good on you! And that is wonderful news about your friend Kendra adopting a girl from Cambodia; that is so neat!! Do you know how old she is, and do you know her name? I'd like to see a picture of her if you can find one! :)
We may be adopting a little boy from Russia who has the reddest hair; his name is Vlademir Aleksander (I had to look how to see how it was spelled), and he is seven years old. He has cerebral palsy and he is in a wheelchair. Maman and daddy have already started the adoption proceedings and hopefully, SOON, I'll have a new little brother to love! :)
How is the weather there in Cali? Here it is dry; we may have some rain tomorrow, but for now, the weather is dry. It has been rough in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas; and we may have some of that tomorrow. Hope not; I don't care for severe weather, especially if it is happening overhead! Pray we don't hit any when we are on the way to Louisiana!
I will tell Ronee' your news. Oh, she will be so thrilled! I hope we get to meet at Fan Fair; we are going again this June, and a few weeks later, maman and daddy are leaving for their Mexican cruise! Lots of things happening on this end, too, as you can see!
My health has been behaving itself. I have not been having any new weakness, but I am not getting any stronger either. A pain in the patootie, if you ask me! GRRR, I HATE having this curse of muscular dystrophy!! Ronee' has been doing great on just her canes, and she is zippin' along and enjoying life! She is trying to get over losing her friend Nicole, and I have tried to tell her that maybe this was for the best. She and Nicole were really good friends for over six years; now all of a sudden, they have drifted apart.
Not to worry, though: Ronee' has a new friend named Alisha'a (or something like that), and she also has one named Kenya, and they get along great together. If they aren't together, they are always on the phone, talkin' their stupid girl talk! LOL Ronee' is all healed from her recent shoulder/head injury, and she is back to her normal speed again! :)
Well, Rebekkah, I hope that you get to go to Fan Fair (it is now known as the CMA Music Festival); that would be great if we could run into one another! You would enjoy it; there are so many things to see and so many stars there, both music and tv stars! It is a blast, and I always have the best time!
I am glad that you got to meet Reba. I aas glad that I got to share in the moment; it just made it all the more special. That is okay if you cried when you met Reba; hey, I did the same thing when I first met her, and when I met Ronnie Milsap the first time, I fainted! Talk about emBARRassing! *sheesh!*
We may be going to Texas in July: just found out that Loretta Lynn is going to be performing at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth on the 29th. That'd be great if we could see her again! I love Loretta Lynn (but not as much as Reba...*grins*)

And to see and hear the legendary Lorreta Lynn would be something else !!
