Dear Tommi~
Thank you for writing; it is good to hear from you again! I hope this finds you and your family well!
I am currently in Arkansas; we are on our way back home from Louisiana. We had a wonderful time at the Crawfish Festival: we heard a lot of wonderful Cajun music, and we ate our fill of scrumptious Cajun fare until I thought our bellies would burst! LOL We also danced, and enjoyed looking at the Cajun crafts!
Johnny and Ronee' both did a fantastic job of performing at the festival; I was as proud as any mama could be! They do sing like angels; God has given them both a gift for music, and they have both blessed people with their singing and musicianship! My other children sing and play music too, so Johnny and Ronee' aren't the only ones. Sometimes during the spring and summer months, the whole family gets together and we sing and make music for the people whenever we are invited to go to a particular festival.
My busband and I sing too, but Johnny and Ronee' are the stars of this family, in my eyes! :)
Tommi, it was a pleasure meeting you too. Your children are well-behaved too, but you are right: we all have our bad days when the kids are being bad, but they are just being kids, and at times they don't know any better; this is why we have to teach them right from wrong and let them know that we care!
As for the adoption community, no, it doesn't cost anything. I will give you the information on another piece of paper and will send it to you; you would be most welcome to join!
At times, parents with children with disabiltiies feel like they are alone; this is why I started this adoption community, and this way we can get in touch with one another and offer friendly advice if any of the members are facing a problem. I also can direct parents to different adoption agencies if they are thinking of adoption; there are so many kids with special needs who are in desperate need of a home or a family.
I hope you made it through the storms. Here it is raining, but as for the weather in Tennessee, I don't know anything until I turn on the tv and see the Weather Channel. Hopefully it isn't raining there; we need to attend to our yard, and we need to do laundry and take out the trash once we get home! (By "laundry" and "trash" I mean the clothes and trash here on the bus. Thought I'd clarify things here. *grins*)
Well, I have to run; seems that one of the kids threw up. Have to see who it was. Gosh, a mother's owrk is never done; will write you soon! Take care, Tommi, and God bless you always! Write any time you can! I'll try to answer you back, pronto (but don't hold your breath! LOL Right now I am so far behind on my e-mails it isn't a BIT funny! LOL)
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tennessee (by way of Arkansas), Louie May Sandusky. :D
