Dear Jenna and Michael~
I am writing to you to let you know that we are getting a new child, a little boy from Russia! We just found out about it the other day, and I have been on an emotional high ever since!
We are adopting a little boy, a little boy from Russia, who happens to be physically handicapped. The boy's name is Vlademir Aleksander, and he is seven years old. He has spastic cerebral palsy and he can't walk or talk. He is in a wheelchair, and he has the prettiest red hair! (I will be affixing a picture of him to this letter, so you can see what our new son-to-be looks like! :) )
We will nwo have an astounding fifty four children. This is going to be one Mother's Day we will never forget; what a wonderful early Mother's Day present!! We are indeed fortunate, and we are indeed blessed! God is so good, isn't He??
How is Mattaq doing? Has he had any more problems? If so I hope they weren't serious, nad I hope that the problems are now overwith. I have bene keeping him (and you guys) in prayer, and I have friends who are praying for you. My church, Christ Community Assembly of God, has been putting you on the prayer chain, and our prayer warriors have been busy keeping you (and those other people in need of Divine Intervention) in God's mind. I hope all turns out for the best not only for Mattaq, but for you guys!!
How is the weather there? Here it is going to storm; there are storms to the west, and according to the Weather Channel, they look pretty nasty. I won't be on here long; but I wanted to write to you to let you know that we are adopting a second Russian child, a little boy! I am so happy it is all I can do to keep from crying; seems that is all I have done for the past few days since finding out that the adoption was approved! :)
