Louisiana is disturbed by the news in which Kendra has shared with her. A friend in Mississippi may still be in danger.

Saturday, May 20, 2006, 12:47 p.m., D.S.T.~

Dear Kendra Mae~

I am happy to hear from you again, but the words in which you shared with me has me reeling. What in the hell is going on with Audrey Jackson?? What you have told me chilled me to the bone, and I am wondering what is going to happen to her or her remaining daughters!

I am wondering if little Susie and Audrey are okay; I was aggrieved to learn of little Maria's murder. I was shocked to see that this monster could stoop this low to commit such an atrocity; he sounds like an evil monster who needs to be taken off the streets! I hope they catch him and let his ass rot in jail for the stuff he has done to his family!

I am doing okay, but I have been in tears upon learning about Audrey Jackson and her family's situation! I also can't eat; I think of little Maria being killed like that by her father (if he can be called that), and my stomach is tied up in knots; it is all I can do to keep from vomiting yet again! The only thing good now is the fact that we are waiting for our new adopted son's arrival into the family and Bill's and my upcoming cruise to Mexico, as well as the impending birth of my sixth grandchild (it is a little girl). But such happiness now is tempered by the incredible sadness I feel right now in my heart, and I am so numb right now with grief I don't know what to say or even think!

I haven't heard much from Susie Jackson either, and just the other day Ronee' was asking me if I had heard from Susie. I told her no; I could tell by the concern in her eyes that she was worried about her friend. I wonder if she is being abused, and I am wondering if she is even ALIVE. I will have to have Pastor Bilkey and the prayer warriors put Audrey Jackson and her kids on the prayer list again, so we can lift them up in prayer! We will be praying for them tomorrow; I will make mention of this situation, and we will most definitely ask the angels to surround this needy family with their love, grace, and most of all, divine intervention!

I will call the ChildHelp toll-free number and report this situation; but I think you need to help too. I can't do it all by myself! I will do anything you need in helping Audrey and her family, but you will have to do some of it too. I have my village to raise and also my job. I am a very busy woman, and I am not a miracle worker. But I will do all I can and let people know (hopefully Audrey Jackson) that your place is a place where children in need can be safe and feel loved. Maybe I can take them in for a spell, I don't know; but anything is better than living on the streets or living in fear like this!!

I will let you know what happens; stay tuned~

Well, I will let you go. I have to get lunch on the table (I am not eating, by the way; stomach is too upset) and then lie down; hopefully I can get my head to stop hurting and my belly to stop rolling and growling! Take care, and please let me know ANYTHING if you hear from Audrey (OR Susie)! It is of the utmost importance!

Thanks!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tennessee, Louie May. :( >tears<

This was just such a heartbreaking letter, probably because it is all too realistic. You did an excellent job bringing us to tears.

The current of our times runs through this letter Karen and wrenches the heart with the abominations that plague our world where children are the victims of so much cruelty and abuse. One day the world will pay for it. It's chilling to think of it!Excellent write!

Haunting lines. There are always a lot of "whys" in our lives and we long to know the reasons for such injustice and evil. It helps to have all of these friends in Louie's life when things get overwhelming. Thanks for the letter today, Karen Lynn.

An emotion storm rages, but God can calm the storm. We must simply hold to our faith, remembering only in darkness can faith be seen shining, so good can emerge from any circumstance, no matetr how terrible. Perhaps the witness of this is why good people must go through bad things.
