Dear Nikolas and Sari~

Congratulatons on the birth of your baby girl, Birtta Aurora! I am so glad everything went so well! How is Sari doing? Is she home from the hospital yet? Is baby Birtta Aurora home yet? I hope both of them are doing okay!

I got the picture of baby Birtta Aurora on my computer in my e-mail, and I must say she is a beautiful little girl! You are so right, Nikolas: she DOES look like Sari, but she has your hair. I am sure you are one proud daddy now! Good for you; you deserve all the happiness in the world (as does Sari)!

We are doing very well here. In just ten days our new son, Vlademir Aleksander, comes to our family. We are getting the finishing touches done in his bedroom, and it looks great! Vlademir wlil be sharing a room with Sergei Ivan and Benjamin. We figure it would be easier, so Sergei can act as his translator until Vlady understands English. Sergei has gotten so good at his English; yet he has retained his native Russian tongue and can easily lapse into Russian (particularly if he is mad, frustrated, or annoyed).

We are all excited about Vlademir's impending arrival into our family, and you cannot find a more excited family anywhere! :)

How is the weather there in Finland? Here we have had scattered afternoon thunderstorms; however, the mornings and evenings have been beautiful (if you can handle the heat and humidity between storms). Hope the weather there isn't too bad!

I have been trying to answer my e-mails; it is proving to be a Hurculean task: as soon as I answer one (or two), here comes three more, hot on its heels! It is enough to make me want to scream!!

As an example of this, I have heard from two women in Georgia (one has two boys, the other has 12 kids, both boys and girls). I will write to them later on (after Fan Fair, wich is this weekend). I also have to write to Kendra Williams in California; she has written to me, and I have  yet to answer her e-mail. She has had a lot going on lately. I won't go into details, but I am happy to report that things have turned out quite well, and now things are much, much better.

Well, Nikolas, this is all that is new on my end. Please write soon, and again, let me say congratulations on the arrival of Birtta Aurora! She is a little love! Hope you enjoy your new baby daughter!
