Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
I am sorry for not writing sooner, but I have been doing many things. Between school ending (I passed, by the way; I will be in the eighth grade come September! :) ), going to my therapy sessions or doctor's appointments at the hospital, going to festivals, and such, I haven't written, and I am indeed sorry. Please do forgive me.
I am getting excited: in about a week or so my new brother from Russia comes. His name is Vlademir Aleksander, and he is seven years old. He is in a wheelchair because he has cerebral palsy. Mama and daddy have been working on his room, and it is just about done. I hope he can understand me or understand English (but somehow I doubt that he will).
I am getting excited, too, because tomorrow starts Fan Fair. It is a huge country music festival that will be held in downtown Nashville. I always have the best time. I have met many of my favorite country music performers including Loretta Lynn, Roy Clark, Mickey Gilley, Barbara Mandrell, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, and Merle Haggard. (Who knows WHO I will meet THIS year?? I already have my eyes on Carrie Underwood, Josh Turner, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, the duo Big & Rich, and Dierks Bentley; I really like all of them! :) ) If you want, I will get you some autographs. (Just tell me who you like in terms of country music BESIDES Reba McEntire, and I'll get their autographs for you, noooo problem! :) )
Mama and daddy are excited too, and not just because of Fan Fair or Vlademir's coming to the family: they are going on a cruise to Mexico (they are going to Cozumel), but they are the only ones going. It is an adults-only cruise, no kiddies allowed (darn it!!). I hope they have fun on their cruise!
How are you doing? Here up to now it has all been about me. I hope youa re doing okay. I konw it has been hard since losing your leg, but I know you'll make it through on your bad days. I hope your leg (okay, what is left of it) has healed (or IS healing). I have been praying extra hard for you!
Well, Rebekkah, this is short, but I can't think of anything much more to say. I guess my medication is playing havoc with my mind again; it has a tendancy to do that at times. I will write after Fan Fair is over (either on Sunday or Monday); until then, take care and God bless you! I love you with all my heart and soul!
