Of Each Small Butterfly

On waking in the countryside, eyes that open far away to the sounds of birds and rolling waters, no time for loitering but for lazing by the meadow green . . .

To graze, with pasture eyes and fingers wide, the colors of the sky, the red and coppered throats of robins and clouds that, overhead, slide peacefully and silent by and too, there is time enough for listening to the willow’s wisp as falling cherries perch upon the haloed mist and dew-kissed lawn and all within the atmosphere is fresh and love is ever born with child-like wondrous joy - this unexplainable nature of mountains, rocks and trees . . .

The yellow blossom sings the silent Shepherd’s song and soft, my feet upon the lawn, moved to dance with sun and fragrant breeze and these lips to kiss the poetry . . .

Fresh eyes to read the graceful sonnets of high trees, all the while with wonder, this wander of my heart that rushes in soft and gentle tides with the greatness of each small butterfly

And for every unknown leaf that trebles unseen, the greetings of this lovely season where the great spirit resides and reigns

Soulful is this day, this minute and this hour that awakens immeasurable love among the garden path, the meadow and the bower, and this;

the everlasting dream of dancing, heart to heart and face to face with the perfect flower

Expresivo es este día, este minuto y esta hora que desperta el amor inmensurable entre el sendero, la pradera y la enramada, y esto;
