Johnny Sandusky writes to his girlfriend in California.

Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
Hi! This is your boyfriend, Johnny, writing. I meant to write yesterday, but I was at my doctor's appointment for a good part of the day, and I was tired after I got back. They did an EMG and an MRI, to see how my muscles were doing, and they are holding their own, much to my relief. No better, yet no worse. I guess you can call that a blessing in disquise.
I am sorry about Susie's situation; that doesn't help my blue mood any. I have been rather depressed since finding about your losing your leg (and also about Susie), but from the sounds of things it seems that you are adjusting pretty well, all things considering. I wouldn't be as strong; if I found out that I was to lose my leg, I'd cry my eyes out for sure!
I am glad that mamma is back from California. Sounds like she had a good time there. I am glad that she got to spend some time with you, but I wish you didn't have to live so far away from me. I wish I could see you every day!
Ronee' is not here: she went to her arthritis camp (Camp SteppingStone), and she will be back on Friday, in the evening. I guess she is having fun; we have yet to get a letter from her. Hope she is okay...
Vlademir is starting to warm up to us, and he isn't crying nearly as much. He is a cute kid, but I wish that he could talk or walk. I feel sorry for him!
Speaking of kids, mamma has told me (and the others) that we may be getting yet another kid, this time a little boy from Israel. I don't know how to take the news: we already have fifty-four kids now; why on God's green earth would mamma or daddy want another one??
The little boy in question is six years old. His name is Gabriel Abrahaim, and he has seizures. I don't know anything else than that, but I do know what he looks like. He has dark skin, curly, short dark hair, and big, brown eyes. Mamma found out about him when she got back from California on Friday, and she has been in the clouds ever since. Daddy has, too.
Is it still hot there? Here it is, but at least we have afternoon/early everning showers to cool us off. No end in sight to the heat, but I am hoping that the heat breaks soon. It is hard on my body, and it is hard on my breathing. I have had to use my oxygen quite a bit lately, and it doesn't take much to tire me out. Stupid MD; I HATE it!! GRR!!
Well, Rebekkah, I don't have much to write about, so I guess I will let you go. I love you, too, and I am glad that you think so highly of me. I don't see why; I don't think I am anything special! In fact, I think I am pretty boring! LOL
Take care, Rebekkah, and God bless you always! Love you lots!
(((HUGS))) As always, your boyfriend in Tennessee, Johnny Sandusky. :)
P.S.: That'd be cool if you could come here to Tennessee; I'd LOVE to see you again!!
Another touching letter, Karen. Even the sketch told its own story. I hope Johnny draws strength from Rebekkah...a remarkable woman in her own right. Thanks for sharing!
The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
