Dear Louisa~

I am sorry that this letter won't be long, not like usual. I am getting ready to go to a funeral. Our next door neighbor's son died on Thursday; he would have been fourteen years old next month on the 11th.

As you can imagine, we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off, trying to get ready. The kids aren't looking forward to it (neither are we, meaning Bill and myself), but we have to go to be there for Maria in her time of grief. Please be praying for her; she is devastated, as you can imagine.

How are you doing? How are Asia and Ariel? How is Bill? Tell them all that we say hello from Tennessee! I am sorry you have lost your ability to walk, but I know you will make it; you have a very good support team in your family and friends! I will keep you all in my prayers!

We are doing fine, but Johnny goes into the hospital later this afternoon; tomorrow he has his procedure. As you can imagine, he is not looking forward to it; neither are we. God has been so good to him, and he has continously beaten the odds, in regards to his muscular dystrophy. We are waiting for the other shoe to drop; it is inevitable, that day when we find out that his disease is progressing, and it is a day we are not looking forward to at all!

Please keep Johnny (and us) in your prayers; we can really use them!

We will keep you informed regarding Johnny's situation; we can assure you of that!

Ronee' is doing a little better. Her ankle isn't hurting nearly as much, but she is still having trouble putting extra weight on it, and she is  hobbling around on her crutches. It is a day to day thing, and she gets a little better each day, but it will probably be a week or so until her ankle is completely healed and she can come off the crutches. She appreciates the prayers (and so does Johnny). Thanks for thinking of them and keeping them in prayer! :)

School starts next month after Labor Day; it is coming up fast. The stores have been having their annual "Back to School Sales", and we have been taking advantage of them. Trying to buy all the required school supplies for over forty children is not cheap, but with the extra hours I have been pulling in at work lately, it has helped a lot. More money for us, and even after paying the bills, we have money left. God has been good to us in our financial needs, and we praise Him for all the goodness He has showered upon our "little" family! :)

We are due to get rain later; I hope it is after Johnny is settled in the hospital! I don't like getting caught in the rain; it wrecks my hair, and I always get chilled if I get drenched! We may have some severe weather, I pray and hope not; but the relief from the heat will be worth it in the end! I have had enough of this hot weather--and this coming from a CAJUN! LOL I can't wait for fall and the cooler temperatures!

We have found out some good news: we are getting Gabriel Abrahiam next month. He will probably be coming around the second or third week of September, the way things look now. There is a lot of heavy fighting going on between the Israelis and the Hamas, and it is the only way the people can ensure his safety. We are getting more excited by the day regarding our newest Miracle's arrival, and we have already fallen in love with this precious angel with the dark, curly locks and the penetrating dark eyes! He is a little beauty!

Please pray that Gabriel remains safe from harm's way until he comes to America! We are already offering our prayers for him even now, as I speak!

Well, Louisa, this is about it for now. Bill is saying that it is almost time to go to church for the funeral services. Keep us in prayer; it is a very sad day for the Sandusky family!
