Wyndi Piestala from Arizona is wondering about a friend of hers in Tennessee, so she writes to her.

Thursday, August 31, 2006, 9:05 a.m., MT, Prescott, Arizona~

Dere Louisiana Sandusky~

It's me, Wyndi Storm Piestala. Do you remember me?

You wrote to me several months back, and I wrote back. You never answered my last letter. Why? Did I do something to offend you? Are you mad at me about something?

I can't understand what I may have done to anger you. This isn't at all like you! What exactly is going on with you?

Life has been very hard for me. Karla is still here, thank goodness, but I don't know how long she will be here. She is still waiting for a kidney, and now her liver and lungs are failing. She has been in and out of the hospital (mostly in), and there have been times wher she's actually coded out. I was sure she'd die, but somehow she came back, and now time is of the essence. I have been staying close to the hospital, to be with Karla, and I have lost all track of time.

Please keep her (and me) in your prayers; we could really use a Miracle!

I have been very depressed. My Star Child is dying, and there isn't a goddamned thing I can do about it. I have been crying buckets of tears because of this, and I don't know what I am going to do without Karla! She is my Light, my World, my Reason for living!

How are you enjoying your little Russian boy? Has he adjusted yet to the family? He is a lovely little fellow! You are so blessed to take in so many needy, broken children! I don't think I could do that: one child is challenge enough, especially one with serious medical problems!

I hope your summer has been better than mine. Besides Karla's medical problems, it has been ungodly hot here with very little relief at night. Temps have been running in the one hundred teens here, and until recently, we have been experiencing a horrible drought. I hope it has been cooler there for you; this heat is about to do me in!

Well, I am going to visit with Karla again (I am at the hospital as I do this on my laptop). Take care, Louie, and may the Great Spirits bless you and your family!

Love, your friend (?), Wyndi Storm Piestala. :( >tears<

Karen,

Louisiana is spreading herself too thin, what with her job, the adoption community, the impending arrival of her new little boy, the upcoming cruise...and raising an entire village...WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Wonder if she has the time to go...ya know...LOLOL

An intensely emotional letter of a desperate mother...very well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

She is having problems too that's why she hasn't answered you last letter. Looks like prayers are needed all around and you have mine.
