Jenna Aurora Doucet e-mails her friend in Tennessee. She is happy at the news in which her friend has shared.

Tuesday, September 5, 2006, Anchorage, Alaska~

Dear Louisiana in Tennessee~

Man, it sounds like you have your hands full! Fifty five children?? My! I don't know how you do it; either you are crazier than a loon or have an awful lot of love in your great big, compassionate heart! I am so happy that you are adopting another little boy! Good for you; you deserve to be happy!

I was happy to learn that Johnny's muscular dystrophy isn't getting any worse. That is a huge relief! I know from watching the telethon just how devastating living with a neuromuscular disorder can be; you must have your hands full with Johnny! I hope you don't do the lifting; you are such a small woman! Who lifts Johnny when he needs to go to the potty or take a bath? I hope it isn't you, and I certainly hope it isn't Bill, not with his health issues! I will have to pray extra hard for Johnny, that a cure is found in his lifetime! That would be so wonderful!

Give Johnny a hug from me, and tell him that I say hello!

As for Ronee', I was sorry to learn that she had sprained her ankle and had to go back to using her crutches. Hopefully by now that is all a distant memory; I bet Ronee' can run circles around you! She has never let her health problems get her down, not in the several years that I have known her! Tell Ronee' that I say hello too, and tell her that whenever I see the northern lights, I think of her! (No surprise there, hunh? LOL)

The weather here is raining and cool, but that is okay. I like the rain, and I like the sight of the fire roaring in the fireplace. Michael is in the kitchen, cooking chili con carne with noodles, and I am sitting here, where I just got done feeding Mattaq his "supper". He is now lying on my chest, and I am burping him. Goodness, he just let a whopper; he burps just like his daddy! LOL There now, Mattie; you feel better now, don't you?? Good boy! *grins*

How is the weather there in Tennessee? Hope it is getting cooler there; I know it has been hot there this summer. (Been hot just about everywhere, I guess, according to the reports on the weather channels...)

When are you coming to Alaska? I forgot; please let me know when you are coming, so I and Michael can make the appropriate plans. We can't wait to see you guys again! We are looking forward to meeting your new son, Gabriel! He sure is a cutie!

Is Gabriel there yet? If not, I bet it is soon, judging from your last letter. You said that he was supposed to have come in December originally, but due to the fighting in Lebanon and Israel, on the border, he was to come earlier, for his safety. I hope if he is there, you are enjoying him, and I bet he will be spoiled before too long! LOL Give him a hug from his Auntie Jenna!

I never watched that show; one thing, I can't hear the music! Sure, I can follow along with the closed-captioning on the bottom of my screen, but I have never heard music, so why even enjoy it? I have done all right for myself, even with my being deaf, and I prefer that people not know I am hearing-impaired (which is one reason why I don't sign unless I absolutely have to; you know me, how stubborn I can be! LOL).

I am sorry that Ronee' didn't make it to the show; how embarrassing for her! I bet she was mortified! Hopefully she got over it, but if I were in her shoes, I'd hide under my bed for the rest of my life!! LOL

Maybe she can try out next season?? Just a thought...

Well, Louie, supper is smelling mighty good, and Michael has told me that it is about ready, so I am going to go now and eat. I am getting hungry; I can feel my tummy rumbling! LOL Take care, dear friend, and do write again soon; I can't wait to see you when you guys come to Alaska!

God bless!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Anchorage, Jenna Aurora Doucet (as well as Michael and Mattaq William Michael). :D
