Louisiana gets a letter from her friend in Georgia, Carmen Rigoletti. Carmen is wondering why Louisiana hasn't written to her.

Dear Louisiana~
This is your friend, Carmen Rigoletti, writing. I have been wondering why you haven't written. Are you mad at me or something?
I hope you aren't. I have been writing back and forth to you on several occasions, and all of a sudden--nothing. Are you are any of the children (or your husband) sick? I pray not! I hope this note finds you all in (reasonably) good health!
How has the weather been there in Tennessee? Here we have had a very long, hot summer, but relief has finally come to Georgia. All of a sudden, instead of temperatures in the 100's, highs here lately have been in the eighties and nineties, with lows in the mid-to-upper sixties to lower-to-mid seventies. We have had some wild weather come thought, but when it comes to cooler temperatures, then it is worth it! I can't take the heat anymore, not like I could when I was younger!
The family is fine. Kids are getting bigger, eating me out of house and home! LOL Hubby is still working, and life is good for us. Nothing much going on at the Rigoletti place--just the same old stuff! :)
Well, I know this isn't much, but I was thinking of you, wondering why you haven't written. Please do write back soon, I miss your warm, cheery, chatty letters!

Hi Karen, I guess with such a busy schedule, poor Louie hasn't got enough time to catch-up on her mail! Now, that reminds me...I've got some catching up to do myself. Thank, Karen. This has been a timely write...:)
Me thinks Louie has too many pots in the fire, what with her job, her family, her adoption community...it's a miracle she finds time to sleep, let alone write! Louie: SUPERwoman! LOL Gotta be. An excellent letter, Karen, well done!
