Dear Eileen~
Hello! How are you? I hope this finds you all well!
We are doing very well, thank you: in fact, we are doing more than well--we are doing GREAT!! We are on our way to Alaska, where we will spend two glorious, fun-filled weeks! :)
So far, we have had a wonderful time! The kids have gone to the children's play area, where the ship attendees keep them entertained with arts/crafts, music and songs, games, and stories. Bill and I have enjoyed the break from the kids: the only time we see them is at the end of the day (roughly around 8:30/9:00); Bill and I have been able to talk about things and enjoy each other's company. We haven't been able to do this since last June, when we went to Mexico! It's been Heaven! :)
We have been wanting to return to Alaska since our last family cruise a little over two years ago, but this time the whole family has gone, not just two of the children (Johnny and Ronee') and us. We are returning to Alaska to celebrate the adoptions of Janica (Romania), Rani Kalpana and Arjun Ravi (Sri Lanka), and our newest Miracle, Gabriel Abrahiam, who just came to us from Israel nearly one week ago. I got this cruise as a Christmas gift from my superiors at work at our Christmas party last year, almost, and it was free! I am going to make every opportunity to enjoy this vacation (especially now when the children aren't around! *giggle*)!
So, how are things going for you, Eileen? Has it cooled off any in Texas (let alone, rained)? I hope so; I bet you are probably sick of summer by now! The weather in Tennessee has been delightful: temps from the eighties to the mid nineties at most in the day, and in the sixties at night); it isn't nearly as hot as it had been! I hope things for you and your family have been good!
Well, Eileen, this isn't much, but I have to get the kids back early from their play (3:00 or so today), and get them ready for tonight. Tonight is the Grand Buffet, and it is the Captain's Dinner. We will have to get all gussied up in our finest clothes. Do you know how hard it is going to be to get 55 active kids ready for the dinner--let alone, keep them clean?? Mon Dieu!! This is going to be one adventure we won't soon forget!! LOL

Hi Karen, this is good. Reminds me of the time my hubby and I were on the Royal Caribbean Cruise (Song of America). Like Louie, we had a grand time. Have you been on a cruise, Karen? Look forward to reading more from Louie...
