Dear Louisiana~
I am so happy you are on your way to Alaska; hopefully, by this time you are already in Alaska! I hope you guys are having a wonderful time; it sure sounds like you are! *sighhhh* I wish I could get away from it all---
How is the weather up there in the Cold Frozen North? Here in Texas it has finally cooled off to acceptable levels: mild in the day, coolish at night. Time to turn off the air conditioning for once (and hopefully, save on our ever-rising electric bills! YIKES!!)! We have opened up the windows to let the fresh air in, and we are absolutely lovin' it! :)
Have you had a lot of problems with your electric bills going up? How do you pay any of your bills with such a large, growing family like yours? I am surprised y'all aren't in the poor house by now! Sheesh! And here you guys are on an Alaskan Cruise! Grr! Jealous?? You bet I am! LOL
Are the kids enjoying Alaska, too? I hope they are behaving for your sake (as well as your husband's)! Did you meet any people on the trip? Did you get to see your friends who live in Anchorage? I hope that you got to enjoy that new baby of theirs! I also hope you are enjoying your new little boy from Israel!
I would like to see some pictures from your trip. I would particularly like to see the pictures from the Captain's Dinner; would like to see what y'all look like all dressed up to the nines! I bet I wouldn't even recognize y'all! LOL
Have you seen any northern lights up there yet? I hear they are mighty spectacular up that way! I have seen them here in TEXAS, believe it or not, but that is a rare thing. I am a skywatcher, and I love looking at God's beauty! I love the stars, the moon, the planets, the northern lights, the whole nine yards! Did you know that there is a way to find out if there are to be any auroras in your area? There is! Just go to your computer, and go to www.spaceweather.com, and you will get all the information there! They will let you know by computer (or by phone if you sign up!) if there is to be any auroral activity in your area!
Well, Louie, I am going to go now. Dwight is calling me from outside. Guess he wants something to drink; he is busy working out in the yard before he goes to do his pastoral duties. I will write again soon; have fun on the remainder of your cruise, and stay safe! God bless you too! I cannot wait to hear about your trip! This sounds terribly exciting!!
