Dear Kendra Mae~

Thanks for writing, but I can't believe what is going on here! That is awful! Who would do such a horrible thing?? I pray that they find Daniella safe and sound, and I pray that those people who are responsible for the kidnapping are found and are swiftly brought to justice! Poor Naomi, Rebekkah, and Maddie! They must be frantic with worry!

When I read your letter, all I could do was cry. I have been sick the past few days, as you are aware, and hearing the news certainly did not help matters any. I am not having the diarrhea anymore (thank goodness), but I am queasy at the thought of Daniella, and right now the very thought of food nauseates me. We are getting caught up on our rest from our vacation, but I am sorry it is over. It went too fast for me!

Is there anything I can do for you, or more importantly, for Naomi, Micah, Rebekkah, Maddie, and Daniel?  Tell them I will be putting them on our prayer chain at our church; I'll be calling Pastor Bilkey as soon as I get through here, and then we will have our prayer warriors storm the gates of Heaven for Daniella's safe return!

I am pleased to hear that Kia is getting around so well on her crutches. That is wonderful to hear! Johnny and Ronee' wrote to her, and they are waiting for a reply. As for Missy, I am glad that she is having a successful first quarter in her new college career! Good for her! I hope and pray that she continues to do well in school! Give them my love, and tell them that I will be praying for them too!

I didn't really know that Rebekkah's mother was pregnant. Well, I suspected she might be, but that can be taken as a dangerous question. There are people who look pregnant, and they are anything but. They just happen to be fat. *grins* I have done that very thing myself, and it is one of those "insert-foot-in-mouth" moments where you wish the floor would just open up and swallow you whole! LOL This is why I don't ask people if they are pregnant untl I absolutely know for sure that they are! Otherwise, I may end up getting slapped! LOL

The kids aren't aware of this situation involving the Cohens, and I don't think I should tell them until I feel that the time is right. That would just devastate them, particularly Johnny, because after all, that is his girlfriend's sister, and to hear such terrible news may cause his health to relapse. No, that would not be a good thing, but one day I will tell them about this. It's a catch-22 situation.

Danged if you do, and danged if you don't, you know??

Well, I am going to try to scare up my appetite and see what I can fix myself, but right now I don't really feel like eating, not with Daniella's being kidnapped! I doubt I can even eat, but at least I made the attempt. I am then going to lie down and sleep for a while after I talk to Pastor Bilkey about Daniella and her family's situation.
