Some people have all the luck! A cruise (and you didn't take me?)? Grrr! I am like sooo jealous! LOL I am glad you had a good time, but it sounds like you got a nasty bug. Hopefully by now you are on the mend; it's been going around here, too, and several people have been admitted to the hospital as a result of it (some even died). I hope your kidney function is returning to normal, and I hope your diarrheal attacks are long gone by now!
We had it here, and it hit us back in August. We weren't as sick as you were, but it was still bad, nevertheless.
I am glad you had a wonderful time in Alaska. I have seen pictures of Alaska's beautiful, majestic splendor, and I secretly have harbored a desire to go there, but I don't think that will be anytime soon, ha, ha! Right now our family keeps us hopping, and life is very chaotic at times (though probably not nearly as chaotic as your household! Sheesh! I still can't imagine your adopting fifty-five children! I would sure hate to pay your light bills, let alone, your food bills, plus bills for doctor's visits, appointments of various kinds, and things like sporting events! How do you do it without worrying about bills??
How is the weather there in Tennessee? Here it is warmish: temps in the eighties, rather warm for this time of year, but a cold front may make it this far south by the weekend and cool us Georgia Peaches down a notch or two! LOL I hope it isn't too bad where you are at!
I have been watching the news, and now I wish I hadn't. Too many bad, scary stuff going on: all these kids being killed or kidnapped (heard that a girl in Sacramento, California, a Daniella Cohen, is missing and may have been kidnapped! Hopefully it isn't anyone you know, but I beg and pray for her safe return to her family! Her family must be utterly devastated!!), or all these sexual predators hitting on innocent children in many different devious ways.
It's as though Satan has gotten a hold of our world, and it is enough to make me want to cry! How do I explain to my dear children about what is going on? Is there a right way, or a proper way in doing this? I hope so because I hate to see them looking so scared!
Now I know it says in the Bible that times will only get worse if we don't cry out to God, but He'd better do something pretty auickly! I can't wait until I see my Lord and Saviour; only then will people find out too late that they screwed up before they could even get the chance to repent of their wicked ways!
I see the Book of Revelation, and I see some of those signs happening now; it's no wonder preachers are screaming for people to turn back to God!
Well, Louie, this is about it for now. I am sorry this isn't long, but I am in the middle of doing laundry, and I have to put the clothes into the dryer, the washer just buzzed. I will write more later. Take care, Louie, and hope you feel better soon! God bless you too!
Another emotional write, Karen. How true, though! The spirit of anti-Christ roams the world, seeking all it can devour. We have to be steadfast and cling to our Lord, for the end times are certainly upon us. There's no chance that people are going to turn from their sinful ways, because they don't think they are committing sinful acts! There lies the tragedy! Another good write from the heart.
I will contend that this world is diving into a waterless pool. Too much is happening now that lines up with prophetic scripture for this to be happenstance.
