Dear Audrey!
WOW! This comes as a total shock! You have a boyfriend, and now you are getting married? Wow, I can't believe my ears! Congratulations! I am so happy for you right now I could just cry!
Obviously, you are doing much better. That is so wonderful to hear! I can see that my prayers for you are being answered; I give God all the Glory in that! Hallelujah!!
We are all doing okay, but right now we are coping with the tragedy that has befallen the Cohen family, and we grieve right along with them. Poor Kia and Maddie blame themselves, and they are both having a very difficult time. They say they saw Daniella get taken, and they couldn't do anything to stop it from happening. They are both emotional wrecks, and one of them (Maddie) is thinking of suicide. That poor child is in dire need of counseling; I pray she gets it before it is too late! Please keep both Kia and Maddie in your prayers (as well as the Cohens); I add my prayers right along with yours!
Rebekkah is doing better, but she still cries a lot (which is understandable). In fact, the family is getting ready to leave Sacramento because there are too many reminders of Daniella, and they are devastated.
Healthwise, we are all doing as well as can be expected, but I recently got over a mean stomach virus that about did me in. I lost a lot of weight due to diarrhea/vomiting, but thankfully, all that is gone now. Now, I did need to lose weight, but getting sick like this was not the way to do it! I can think of other alternatives to lose weight! LOL
I have regained my appetite; all of a sudden food actually tastes good again, and I am now able to work without pooping out by the end of my shift. Now one day this week I had to work a double shift (one of my OB/GYN nurses, Michelle, is out with the virus; it's been going around here in the Nashville area), but that was okay: I can use the extra money. I have taken a lot of extra tim off, and it's been hard on my check; now this next paycheck will more than make up for it! At least I am able to pay my bills, even with the smaller checks; God has provided the funds, and again, I give Him all the Glory! :)
I just thank God my husband or my kids didn't catch the virus; that would have been a national disaster! Again, God has had His Hand on us. He is so good and merciful! :)
Well, Audrey, this is all that is new here. Again, congratulations on your upcoming wedding, and congrats to you and Rick! I pray everything goes smoothly, and I wish you both a long, happy marriage that is full of God's blessings; you deserve it!
A great write here, but it was Kia who was thinking of suicide, I am sorry I did not make that clear, it was a great write though, and I am glad you are joining us in writing these Karen, it would not be the same without you
God Bless
Michelle~
Oh Karen...the darkness is lifting, if only for a bit, wedding bells are sounding, oh what joy! I really liked the opening tone of this one, Karen. Louie and family deserve some joyous news for a change. Well timed, well executed. Looking forward to more wedding updates. :)
Some good news at last! Good on Audrey and Rick, and good on Louie for sharing in their joy! And good on you for such a positive write. Well done--BRAVA!
It's almost Christmas. Lynn Basil is writing her last book about a secret entrance into the magical doll land of Sha Bebe that she loves so much. Bagannos have taken over the world! Lynn finally meets her dolls in real life. Can she write in a Secret
