Monday, December 26, 2006 (my birthday today!! :) I am fourteen years old today! :) )~

Dear Journal~

Hi! This is your friend, the Birthday Boy! I am fourteen years old today, which is something of an accomplishment. See, I wasn't expected to live beyond the age of five, but I guess I have proved the docs wrong because I am still here! :)

Hope you had a good Christmas; mine was great! :) I got an XBox (that was my big gift; I about died when I opened the gift up and saw what it was; I was wanting one so bad! :) ), oodles of money, gift cards for Wal*Mart, Target, and Barnes and Noble, clothes, and new shoes. I got other things too, but my best gift was probably the XBox! :)

Ronee' had a good Christmas too; she got gift certificates for the stores I mentioned, clothes, shoes, socks, a new winter coat, new earrings and jewelry, paper, pencils, and markers, money, and her big gift, which was a new laptop computer; her original one died when Arjun sat on it and broke it.

Yesterday for Christmas, after we opened up our gifts from Santa Claus, we went out to eat at Golden Corral. We do this every year. Of course, the place didn't expect over fifty people to show up, but here we came, and we just made the place all the more busier! LOL We sat in the back, in Section Eight, and the servers treated us really well. We got a lot of good food, and I was so full, I was miserable! I ended up getting sick later; guess I ate a bit too much!

I then watched the Dallas/Philadelphia game, and of course, Dallas managed to fool around and lose, which made me mad. I was hoping Dallas would win, but nope, they lost. Guess they are out of the playoffs now. GRR!

I was recently in the hospital: my heart acted up (got a rapid, or tackacardic, heartrate), and I had some trouble with my breathing. I ended up in ICU for about a week, was in the hospital for about three weeks. I was a very sick little boy, but now I am home, and I am doing  much better. I am feeling a bit weak still, but every day I feel stronger, and the oxygen is helping. I have to wear my oxygen a lot now, and I have to see my doctor once a week, to make sure I am doing okay. I see him on Friday; hope I get a good report from Dr. Emmons!

Ronee' was in the hospital too, only she had a flare of her arthritis. She had problems with her breathing too, and she was in a lot of pain; she was really miserable. She wasn't in the hospital as long as I was, but she was pretty sick herself. Now she is all better, and she is on some new medication, which is helping her pain and her arthritis.

Maman and daddy are thinking of adopting more kids; I don't know what to think about this only to say they are crazy; they already have fifty five kids, and they want to add four more?? CRAZY!! There's a boy from India (Vijay), a girl from China (Mai Fong), a girl from Vietnam (Huong Vu), a boy from Iraq (Emir Muhammed. It would be nice if they would adopt them, but I don't see the point in adding more kids to the family when we already have more than enough as it is! Soon there will be no room due to all the kids running about! I don't know where maman and daddy are going to put them; the rooms are already full enough now!

Well, I have been enjoying my time off from school. We go back to school the week after New Year's; we get two weeks off. I have been sleeping in as late as noon, and I get to do whatever I want without worrying about homework, which is nice. School is always a hassle, and I don't like sweating my brains out over homework! Homework is the pits! GRR! I have been playing with my brothers and sisters, watching tv, playing with my video games, and spending time with my friends Jose', Tyrell, Guisseppe, and Trevor, to name a few.

The weather has been cold and raining, and I was mad because I was hoping we'd have a white Christmas, but we got gypped, and we got rain instead. We ended up having a green Christmas. But that's okay; maybe next year we'll have a white Christmas.

Well, I will go for now; have to see what grandpere' Armand wants; he is calling me. I will write in here again; take care, and God bless! Hope you have a good New Year; see ya in 2007!
