Dear Audrey~
This is incredible. I'm still reeling from shock! After all these years of thinking that I was an only child, I find out that I have a sister!
Mother and Daddy never mentioned you or told me anything. I guess it was partly due to my fragile health and always needing medical attention and/or treatment.
You sound like a very good person who went through some hard times. I am sorry for all the pain you've had to endure. I hope (for your sake) the hard times are over; nobody deserves that! If I had known anything sooner, I would have been there for you!
I am glad you found a man who loves you and your children (my nieces and nephews). That really makes me happy! I am looking forward to seeing you, getting to know you and Rick (and my nieces and nephews) in person! Maybe one of these days I will fly out to California, so we can meet, and perhaps, get to know one another better. What do you think? Let me know!
Louisiana Sandusky is a very good person; I am glad she was there in your time of need. You don't find many people like her on this planet! I have known her since she started working at NMH (Nashville Memorial Hospital), and I have grown to love not only her, but her husband, Bill, and all of their children!
You'll get to meet the Sandusky family when you come to Tennessee (that is, if you decide to; the door is open!). You'll never find a more caring family! (Or one so big!!)

P.S.: Speaking of Louisiana Sandusky, she and Bill are adding to the family: they are adopting four more children! They are adopting two little boys from Iraq and India and two older girls from China and Vietnam! Soon they will have fifty-nine children!
