Photos: JF and Louise McConnell: A Composer’s Journal Entry: January 20, 2007

These are photos standing on the upright piano in the living room: one is of JF riding a camel in Turkey. The other photo is the cover of the Early Songs CD & the cover of Realms of Light, & is of my singer Louise McConnell & I on a trip home to visit my family on the New Jersey coast. It was my birthday, & the whole family had gathered in Manasquan, New Jersey where my family has a summer house. Louise & I were giving concerts of my songs in New York City & in New Jersey & we had stopped there on the way; my brother-in-law took the photo. We had taken Carolyn with us. Carolyn was eight or nine years old then, so the photo is at least twenty years old.
