Thanks for your letter; I am sorry you are having problems with your feet swelling. Do keep me informed as to what is going on; in the meantime, I will keep you in prayer!

I hope the weather there is good; here it is sunny, really beautiful! I do think spring is beginning to show herself here in Tennessee. The trees are getting buds on them, and the grass is greening up quite nicely. The temps are warming up, although the mornings are still chilly.

I love spring; I always have, especially after a long, cold winter. We had a cold winter here, and we had lots of rain and snow. I am also looking forward to spring because in May we go to Louisiana for a weekend; we go to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival, which is held every first or second weekend. Over 20,000 people descend on the small town of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana (where I was born, by the way), for a weekend of crawfish, contests, Cajun music concerts by big-time Cajun stars, and plenty of Cajun-style dancing and fun! I have gone to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival just about every year, ever since I was a little girl!

Besides the Crawfish Festival, I also love the fact that Easter will soon be here. I love remembering why we celebrate the season in the first place: the Ressurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! :) We have a Cantata at our church every Easter, and it is always time for celebration and joy! :)

What do I think of Anna Nicole Smith? I personally find the whole thing disgusting. She was nobody; you are right about that! I feel sorry for the baby; the child is always the one who suffers greatest in these divorce or custody battles! It is enough to make me ill! I will be glad when all of this is over!

Johnny and Ronee' have both been busy; that is probably why you haven't heard from them. I will tell them to drop you a line!

We have added to the family: Opal Mae, Emma-Ruth, Vijay, and Emir are here from China, Vietnam, India, and Iraq, and they are already very well loved by their many brothers and sisters. They are still rather shy and scared, but as they get used to us, their shyness and fears should dissapate. We have fallen madly in love with our new kids!

Opal May, Vijay, and Emma-Ruth are all healthy, but Emir was injured in a road-side bombing; he lost his arms and legs, and he has night terrors. I feel so bad for him; he was an innocent victim of this darn war! I wish I could kiss his fears away!

I will send you pictures of our new kids soon; be on the lookout for them!
