Dear Kendra and Michael~

Congratulations on your wedding; I am so happy for you!

I deeply regret we couldn't attend the happy event, but you know howthat goes! I hope you understand. Perhaps sometime in the near future we'll get together; hope so!

I am happy to hear that both Rebekkah and Susie participated in the wedding and that they are doing better. Such a relief! God has been so good in answering our prayers! Please tell them both hello from all of us and that we think of them often!

Well, we have our four new ones to keep us occupied. Emir (1 1/2) starts physical/occupational therapy next week; he will also be fitted with new arms and legs. We'll see how that goes. Could prove to be interesting! He is starting to smile; he is such an adorable little guy!

Opal Lee and Emma-Ruth (5 and 8) have started picking up new English words and have made new friends. They are doing surprisingly well for being in America for such a short time. (Opal Lee is from China; Emma-Ruth, from Vietnam.)

As for Vijay (5, from India), he is having a harder time of it. English is still proving difficult for him. He is painfully shy, almost to the point of tears. Hopefully he'll soon open up. This should happen once he learns more English, according to our pediatrician. (We shall see, but he told us not to worry.)

Speaking of adoption, are you sitting down, Kendra? The reason I am asking you this is because we are thinking of adopting one more child, to bring the total to sixty. I know, I know: we are nuts! LOL Perhaps a child from Scandinavia, Myanmar, or Nepal. If they are healthy, great, but we would prefer a child with special needs.

Bill and I have been praying about this, and we have been discussing it at length with each other and with the kids. Of course, the kids are all for it; as for us, we are having our doubts at times. (Can we handle another one?? It's up to God; it's HIS decision, not ours.)

How is the weather there? Here it's raining, but the last several days were lovely. Got the yardwork done, and am eagerly waiting for the lawn to green up and the flowers to be planted. Ahhh...spring. How I love thee! :)

Hopefully your weather is as nice as ours has been (until the rain moved in; we needed it!).

Well, Kendra, I know this isn't much, but the kids are clamoring for attention: the little dears want their bedtime stories or a drink of water or juice. Earlier, I had to laugh: they were hungry. Thank God I satisfied their hunger, or they might have eaten me for supper! LOL
