Dear Kendra~

I found out about Rebekkah and her family from Ronee'. She came running to me, crying her eyes out; she was hysterical with tears. I couldn't make out what she was saying; she was inconsolable. All I could do was hold her in my arms, and try to calm her down.

She finally blurted out that Rebekkah and Maddie had been shot; I then called Louisa Mason, and she told me what had happened. I am so sorry; is there anything I can do for you? I know you have known Naomi longer than I have; she is more of a friend to you. This must be devastating to you!

Ronee' was still crying when she went to school this morning; I feel so bad for her! She hates for anything bad to happen to people; she has such a tender spirit, such a compassionate heart.

Johnny will be devastated when he finds out; I don't plan on telling him yet. He has been doing so good with his health; this would destroy him! I don't know how to keep something this major from him; but Rebekkah is his girlfriend; he has to know sometime! I just pray that Rebekkah and Maddie make it through this latest crisis!

Well, I am at work, took a quick one before I go back. I had to get some fresh air. Hope the bosses don't catch me sitting outside, typing away at my laptop, but darn, it is so beautiful out! LOL Take care, Kendra, and know I will be calling Pastor Bilkey later on to tell him the news; we'll definitely put the Cohen family on the prayer chain at church!
