Hullo! This is your friend, Louie Sandusky, writing; thanks for your response to my last letter! It was good to hear from you!

I am afraid I am not doing so well at the current time: I have a bad sinus infection, and I have a migraine headache. My head is pounding, my nose is stuffed, and my sinuses are causing me nothing but grief. I am in such pain it isn't funny; I'm ready to have my husband get his gun, so he can put me out of my misery! (NOT really, but I DO feel bad! LOL)

I have written five books, one for children, and four for adult readers. I have written two books about some of my escapades at my job as a nurse, and I have written three about my family. I will be sending you copies of all my books, free of charge, as a complimentary gift. I hope you will enjoy the books when you receive them! Be on the lookout for a package in the next few weeks from me!

Have you written any books? If so, how many, and what are they about? I love to read other people's writings, and I love going to a place called Authorsden; there's many talented authors there from all over the world, and some of the stories are very, very good. Yes, we have a Golden Corral here in Nashville, in fact, there are several. One is near our house; that is where my daughter, Steffi, works when she is on break from college. (She attends college in Texas, but does come home for Easter, summer break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. She is studying to become a teacher to children with special needs.)

I haven't been to the one in Burleson, but will plan on stopping by when we are in that part of Texas. We eat at the one here by our house all the time; we go there just about every Sunday morning before church, and again afterwards. We are definitely "regulars"! :)

The St. Paddy's Day celebration you inquired about was fun; it made us forget of our troubles for a while, and it was good to get out of the house. I will tell Naomi Cohen you will pray for her; she will appreciate that! She is really having a hard time of it now, with two of her daughters seriously injured! She has been through a lot anyway, this just adds more heartache. Personally, I don't know how she puts up with so much guff in her life!

Her daughters Rebekkah Rachel and Maddie are doing better, but Rebekkah is now a quadriplegic (paralyzed from the shoulders on down), and Maddie may have some irreversable brain damage. The doctors will know more about Maddie's neurological status in a few days; until then, it's a "wait-and-see" kind of thing. We have been stormin' the gates of Heaven with our prayers for the girls.

All I can say is this: Naomi and her husband, Micah, will surely appreciate the prayers!

The weather here is lovely: sunny and mild; in fact, my husband is out now, mowing the yard on his riding lawn mower...uh, oh...I hear him yelling. What is gong on? Let me make sure he is okay; I'll be right back..

Okay. Am back, but Bill is madder than mad: he ran over his crutches! He had his crutches on the mower, and I guess he hit a bump because they fell off, and he ran over them! The mower made a horrid noise, and sparks flew everywhere! Now his crutches are all mangled, and I am sure the mower engine is in the same sad condition; the mower doesn't work, and now he has to take it in for repairs.

He will have to use his spare pair of crutches until he gets his current pair  (and the mower) fixed! LOL Poor Bill! LOL

(Bill uses Lofstrand  crutches because of degenerative osteoarthritis and lower back problems. He's had three surgeries done on his back; it's only done him a little good; he still has pain in his back and hips.)

It is best to order tickets for the Grand Ole Opry at www.opry.com, or write to them at Grand Ole Opry, 2802 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214. You have to order them months in advance; they go very quickly, and shows are often sold out. It's a luck of the draw when ordering Opry tickets! I hope this helps, and I hope you make it one day to Nashville or the Grand Ole Opry!

Well, Breeanna, I will run for now. I am going to get the ice tea on for Bill and make Ronee' some soup with crackers.
