Hai! Miita kuulu? Kiitos hyvaas!
Congratulations on the arrival of little Erik Karlsenn! I am so happy for you; I had no idea Sari was pregnant! Little Birtta Aurora must be crazy with excitement! Good for her; no, good on y'all!
I am recovering from a nasty sinus infection, plus I had a migraine headache. The migraine is just about gone, thank the Lord, and the sinus infection is clearing up too. I missed two days of work, and will miss today, too, have made an appointment to see my doctor, Dr. Harlowe, to see if he can give ms eome stronger medication so to knock this thing outta' me.
I have been lyin' around like a slug, taking care of the kiddies, and trying to get some of my e-mails anssered. I am so behind it isn't funny! I did manage to answer two letters yesterday, plus four the day before, so I am making progress.
The weather here has warmed up, and the other day, Bill cut the grass--or he did until one of his crutches fell off and he ran over it. Now the mower and the crutch are in the shop for repairs. LOL He is using his old pair of crutches or his scooter until the crutch is fixed. Poor Bill has more luck...LOL
We got our planting in, soon the yard will be ablaze with color. I love the springtime, I was ready for the cold to end! My Cajun blood can't take the cold too well.
We have had a lot of bad news lately, I was ready for some good. Our friend Naomi Cohen in California is dealing wtih two of her kids in the hospital: they were shot while walking home from church. Rebekkah, who is twelve, is now paralyzed from the shoulders on down, and Maddie is on powerful antibiotics; she had surgery, and she's now developed an infection. It's touch and go with her. I'll keep you updated; in the meantime, please keep them in your prayers!
Johnny just found out yesterday about Rebekkah after my not teling him about it when it first happeened, and so far, he's doing okay, but he is an emotional wreck. He's been crying his eyes out, and I don't blame him. I jut hope this doesn't prove to be detrimental to his health!
Ronee' has been depressed too; she isn't crying nearly as much, but she is in a mood, and whenever I try to talk with her, she bites my head off. It's like walking on eggshells with her. I think it's best to stay out of Ronee' 's way until her mood passes.
We are adopting a sixtieth child. We have just found out that it will be a little boy. A little boy from Finland. The little guy is three years old, and he is blind and deaf; otherwise, he is healthy. His name is Bjorn Wilhem, and he has the whitest hair: he reminds me a lot of Johnny when he was little. It's like looking at Johnny as a little guy all over again; it's scary! LOL
Little Bjorn Wilhem will be arriving within the next several months; we can't wait! We got his picture yesterday, and we have already fallen in love with him! We are already counting the days to when Bjorn will be with us!
Well, Sari and Nikolas, again congratulations to the new arrival; I am so happy for you! May your lives continue to be filled with nothing but good things! You deserve it! :)

Poor Ronee, feelings of such sadness. I hope that somehow she will break through this darkness and see the light. Maybe, just maybe Bjorn will be that little light!! Great write!!
