Sari in Finland writes to her friend in America.

Monday, 2 April, 2007, Ivalo, Finland~

Dear Friend Louisiana in America~

Terve! Miita kuuluu? Kiitos hyvaa!

It's just me, Sari Annike. I got your letter the other day, but haven't been able to get to it until now. I hope you understand, especially since I have another little one around.

Little Erik is so beautiful! Every day, I look at him; every day, I am moved to tears. He is perfectly healthy, with ten little fingers and toes, and a headful of fuzzy blonde hair, and the biggest bright blue eyes. He has already captured our hearts! We look at him, and we can't help but to thank God for His blessings upon our lives!

How are you doing? We are well, even me. I am having an easy day with my MS today: my eyes are fine, and I am only using my cane when I walk. No crutches, no wheelchair today, thank the Lord! :) Still am being careful, though: I certainly don't want to fall, especially when I am holding the children in my arms! That would not be good! The thought terrifies me; I don't know what I would do if that were to happen!

Are you still busy working? I certainly hope you take some time off to relax; you need to with all those children around! LOL

How's the weather there? Here, we are having wicked windstorms with heavy rain. In fact, as I write this, our power is out. I'm writing by candlelight, and I have a battery backup for my computer, so even though there's no power at the moment, I can still go online. Nik has put a fire in the fireplace; he's cooking fish in the fireplace, even though our oven isn't working. I certainly hope the weather is much nicer there than it is here!

Please pray for my friend, Inga, who takes me to hospital every week for therapy: her father was injured in a bad car wreck; the doctors or nurses don't hold out much in the way of hope for him. They don't expect him to make it. He's currently in hospital, in Expensive Care, fighting for his life. As you can imagine, Inga is devastated, and so am I. She can really use the prayers!

I talked to Ilsa Rekkonen, my other friend; she now has a boyfriend named Larss. He's really sweet to her. I have met him (twice); he is a very nice gentleman.

I am happy for Ilsa; she deserves good things in her life.

Well, I know this is short, but Birtta is demanding attention, and the baby is crying. He's just awakened up; I think the wind woke him up--that, or the heavy rain. Take care, dear friend, and may God pour His many blessings upon you, Bill, and your "Northern Lights Family"!

Until later, Nakemiin!

~Love, your Finnish friend, Sari Annike. :)
