Beyond friendship
Two souls linked through time and space spinning webs so intricate like the wings of dragonfly. Voice vibrations carry them back to memories from forever. Not knowing where forever started yet knowing it does not end.
Once we looked upon one another as rivals for the “boy toy prize”.We soon out grew that and saw a deeper meaning to our relationship.
Neither of us has been able to forecast or even understand it in totality.
We can go long periods without interaction. Yet, we feel the presence of the other and call up their name in prayer and thankfulness. They have joined us for this journey. As we, learn what love, harmony and beauty means.
Supporting one another in whatever way that person needs in the current moment. Loving them in absence of their presence is no less, should they stand next to us. Humanness lingers moreover, we long for times gone by yet not even understood.
Are our souls are so similar and our need for greater depth of understanding beyond the here and now what calls us. Oh, what determines our ability and willingness to stay interconnected?
As birthdays roll by and our tears become mirrors for one another.
Dew glistens on Kentucky blue grass and the color and brightness of our friendship endures.
