Dear Journal~
Good morning! :) Louie here. Just got up! *Yawwwwwwwwwwwn*
Well, we had our first night of the Easter Cantata at church. We have a performance again tonight, and two tomorow, for the special Easter services. Yesterday's Cantata went surprisingly well; there were only a few minor glitches (mostly with the sound and the mics), but they were few and far between, thank goodness. Nobody on stage (or in the sanctuary) got sick or passed out, thank the Lord! :) We all survived! *grins*
Yesterday's performance caused three people to come to the altar, where they gave their hearts to the Lord. Maybe more will come up tonight or tomorrow; I hope so! :) Everyone needs a Friend like our Risen Saviour! :)
Until we leave for church at five (the performance starts at eight), we are just going to relax and do nothing--except enjoy each other's company! :)
Bill goes into the hospital on on Tuesday; he has his back surgery on Wedsneday. He is getting a bit nervous, but I told him if he gets relief from the crippling back pain he's had to endure for the past eight/nine years, then it will be worth it, especially since I went through the exact same thing myself. (I had surgery on my back two/three years ago, and I am doing positively great! No back pain for me, and best of all, I can lift and hug my children, something I couldn't do without agonizing pain! :) It's been a blessing! :) )
I will try to be there for my hubby, support him in any way I can. I love Bill with all my heart and soul, and when he is miserable, I suffer, too, right along with him.
Rebekkah Rachel continues to make strides in her therapy. She is home until Monday or Tuesday from the rehab center, and she is getting along great. She is able to move her arms surprisingly well, she can feed herself, and she can transfer herself from her wheelchair to her bed, something she couldn't do several weeks back. She is making amazing progress; we couldn't be more proud of her! :)
Kendra's pregnancy is progressing well, and she is busy with the two new children from Africa, Gemini and Jenna; they are cute as little bugs; they look exactly alike; can't tell 'em apart! She is very happy with her life, a new husband, new children; yes, life is indeed good for Kendra!
Her daughter, Kia, who had been raped, is doing very well too, but Kendra still has some hidden rage pent up inside of her (what mother wouldn't in a situation like this??). I have been praying hard for her, and I hope she learns to forgive the kids who violated her daughter! It may be hard, very hard to do, but it's the only way!
Poor Susie Callaway is having serious, serious problems. Some clown keeps sending her awful pictures of her, pictures that are obscene, pictures of her nude, pictures taken when she and her sisters had been kidnapped, and Audrey is beside herself with worry. I don't know what to do or say in a situation like this, but it's gotten me scared--very scared! Poor Audrey has already been through the ringer (as has Susie); they don't need anymore heartbreak or tragedy!
It's coooooooolllllllld here. We may even get some SNOW here. BRRR! My Cajun French blood can't take the cold; I'm positively FREEZING! I'm cocooned in a blanket, and I am sippin' a hot cup of Cajun coffee as I write this down! All the poor Easter eggs I hid outside for our Easter egg hunt will be cracked even before we have the hunt after church; no shorts or tee shirts for us or the kiddies in THIS weather! CRAZY weather patterns here lately!
The kids are off for Easter break; they go back to school on Tuesday. I am looking forward to it; they have been WIRED! Oh, they are behaving (for the most part), but kids are kids, and there's times when a mama needs a break from all that whirlwind energy that kids possess! (I wish I had some of it! LOL)
Just add that energy field by say four dozen times, and you will see what I have to deal with on a day to day basis.
(Louie, I sometimes wonder why you and Bill took in so many kids; why couldn't we have said "NO"??)
Well, I am going to go now, crawl back into bed, snuggle right up next to my snoring, warm husband, and go back to sleep. Take care, dear Journal, and God bless! Happy Easter too; don't forget the REAL Reason behind the celebration: the Resurrection of our Risen Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! :)

Always enjoy these writes of Louie May Sandunsky!! She has a great way of keeping us up to date on all what's going on! Keep up the great work!
We peek into Louisiana's life and see that it is good; not so for some of her friends. Louisiana is blessed, and so is the reader who reads her thoughts and musings: some humor, some sadness, all excellently penned in journal form. BRAVA!
