The family has welcomed their newest arrival, three-year-old Bjron Wilhem, from Finland, with open arms. Louie writes about his arrival and his first few days with his brand new family in America.
As you can imagine, she is full of joy.

Dear Journal~
Well, little Bjorn Wilhem, our newest child, has arrived safe and sound to our house; he is absolutely beautiful! He looks just like Johnny did when he was small; it's incredible!
Bjorn, who came to us from faraway Finland, is frightened, but we have been trying to comfort him. He has already rewarded me with a smile when I signed into his hands, telling him I was his new mommy, that I loved him. Somehow he understood. He has such a beautiful smile: it lights up his small face like a beacon in the night.
He is othewise, unsure of his new surroundings: he usually sits in the middle of the floor in the livingroom, rocking and biting himself; it's unsettling, but we'll just have to give him some time, give him plenty of room to explore, or give him plenty of love.
We have plenty of that.
The kids have taken to their new little brother like ducks to water. They want to take turns helping him, holding him, loving him. Of course, little Bjorn is overwhelmed: he sits on the floor and does his "rock'n'roll" thing. He screams in fear, sending the children scuttling away, as they don't expect such a big noise coming from such a small little boy. It's upsetting to them, but they'll just have to be patient with him.
It seems hard to believe that we now have 60 children in our family. Most people can't imagine parenting that many children; more often than not, just one is more than enough for them! LOL (It takes a special person to parent many kids at one time. We are just the ones to do it.)
We didn't plan on adopting sixty children, most with special needs: God put it upon our heart; and we followed Him. It just happened. He said it was time to take in yet another child, so He brought us little Bjorn from Finland. When we got "The Call" to take in little Bjorn, we joyfully accepted.
Once the adoption was approved, we did the necessary paperwork, had the necessary "background check", had the necessary "home visit", to make sure we were capable of taking care of a severely disabled child like Bjorn, who was born blind and deaf. We passed the insection with flying colors, and plans were made to add Bjorn to our family.
We didn't expect Bjorn to come until May, but he's here now, and he's now ours, our newest little Miracle.
We might as well make the best of it.
As a result, we are now the parents to 60 beautiful children who now range in age from 1 1/2 to 25 years.
We are a true "Rainbow Family". Looking at the kids is akin to looking at a rainbow: so many different colors.
God has bleessed us once again, and we couldn't be any happier than we are right now. We give God all the praise, we give Him the glory in His bringing us this special little boy named Bjorn into our lives. We are once again reminded of God's unfallable goodness in our lives.
Well, Bjorn is cying again, must tend to him. Must go. Until next time, dear Journal, this is Louie signing off. God bless!

The desire and courage to write around the concept of a couple raising "60 children" is a small literary miracle in itself. In these stories and in your heart you make room for all humanity and I suspect such wise compassion just might be the greatest kind of genius of all. Much gratitude for all that you share through the spiritual grace of your pen.
