This is a story of a girl who is in high school i cant really say any more about it....
"Hey look if it isn't the little geek." Madison almost came to a stop but then realized that her geekiness was a part of her past.
"Yeah,Maddi,I'm talking to you." Madison slowy turned around.
"Megan we all know,"Madison said pointing to the onlookers,"that I'm not a geek."
"Oh Madison,"megan whined,"don't lie to yourself like that."
"Megan,please. You're only teasing me so you can show that you are still the most popular girl around campus. But people have been talking and I know they think that has changed. I mean people thought your bitch attitude was just the way you were but then people saw how you treated that new french girl 2 weeks ago and everything changed." She retorted looking down on Megan's little 5'3 frame compared to her 5'10.
Megan and Madison shared an intense glare and jumped a little when they heard a fimilar male voice behind them.
"Ladies please put away the claws it's not needed."Madison and Megan both looked up at Rick Srier who stood a little over 6ft.
"Oh Ricky,"Megan cooed after recovering from the shock of seeing Rick,"Madison started harrasing me and I just couldn't stand here and let her do such cruel things"
"Cruel things!" Madison shouted. "Are you out of your mind? "
"Calm down Red,"Rick said using his nickname for Madison,"It's not that important."
"Oh my goodness Ricky I can't beleieve you still think those aburn streaks in her hair are real." Megan stated holding up her manicured hands in disbelief.
"How many times do I have to keep reminding you that my mother told you that the auburn streaks in my dirty blonde hair are real. Remember you asked when we were 7 and used to be good friends? Or does your brain lack the capacity to remember things that happend 10 years ago?" Madison said
Rick's best friend Drew appeared beside him right when the bell for the last period rang.
"Hey dude,"Rick shouted over the now chaotic noise in the hallway,"take Megan to her class and I'll take Red."
"You want me to take that thing."Drew asked and pointed to Megan while looking at his best friend for 12 years like he had grown another head.
No one had noticed but Madison had her eyes closed and was envisoning a pail of cold water falling on Megan. Madison used all the energy around her and began to truly imagine.......
Gia, a very insightful read as to a particular attitude that comes about in high school. This stuff happens, it's real, and it's what reades can connect to. My only suggestion might be to do an edit for mechanics, such as spelling and punctutation mistakes.
