The Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center exists to promote the unique history and continuing legacy of African-American art and culture in the city of Baltimore using their exhibition space, programming and educational activities.
The Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and CulturalCenter hosts a monthly poetry event entitled: Last Thursdays Open Mic Poetry at 7:00pm. Some of there other programs include Visual Arts, Musical Theatre, Instrumental Music and much more.
I have been frequenting their venue and attending their monthly poetry event since 2002. They are located at 847 N. Howard Street in Baltimore, MD.
